We Should Make Firebird + Wasp/Hornet a Format

Ok so first off, I realize that this topic has probably been made about a zillion times, but it hasn't seen my view of it, so here we go. 

 

First off, we SHOULD make Firebird + Wasp/Hornet battles a format because it is pointless if you are trying to have one, and you turn off equipment changes, but then some noob Ricochet Mammoth comes in to ruin the fun. It then becomes pointless and defeats the purpose of having the battle. With enforcing the new format, that wouldn't be a huge problem anymore, and would make the format a whole lot more fun to play in.  (I'm pretty sure the entire community would be overjoyed as well.)

 

I seriously think that this could become as popular as Xp Bp format battles. Like the main maps for Xp Bp are: Sandbox, Zone, Parma, Gardner, Polygon, Red Alert, and Island for most people. (I might have forgotten a few, but whatever, you get what I'm trying to say) There could be many different maps for Firebird + Wasp/Hornet battles, like: Arena, Farm, Polygon, and some others I'm probably forgetting as well. 

 

Second of all, It increases the amount of gold drops, (or it sure seems like it). That is one of the main reasons that people love to play it (that is if they love to catch golds). It is also perfect for grinding for experience. I love to start a Arena CP 100 or 200 Points and get about 3k experience depending on if someone ruins it or not. 

 

You probably understand what I am saying right now,

I like your view of the idea, but this idea has been declined a zillion times due to the reason ir increases hacks and cheats.

It has nothing to do with cheats. The reason is that developers want you to play the game, rather than sit there for hours mindlessly grinding for golds, funds and experience.

Im pretty sure its been declined because it takes no skill and is borderline power-leveling.

 

If you want to sit there and FWH all day long, do it with friends in a private battle.

perhaps there can be a 15% decrease of funds and experience, and therefore golds as well. because I like to play them just because they are fun... and if someone wants to go grinding for xp and cry, then let them attempt to create one without the format.

Fire/Wasp in no way that I know increases cheats or hacks. I think the reason is because of all the easy crystals, experience, and other things like that you can get in such a short time.

Maf is right, grinding for golds is almost multing tho, so almost a cheat.

I suggested that before (as did a few other people), but there was no result so far. We'll see what happens.

Moreover.... It is just plain boringness. Spawn. Kill. Die. Repeat.

Hell naw. Polygon CP is so much more complex than you would think.

 

There are the isida strats, the magnum strats, the striker strats, the module mind games, to camp or to rush, target priorities etc.. I can go into detail into each of these if necessary.

 

Playing Poly CP with overdrive brings another dimension - how many people is it worth it to OD, and when?

Do you save OD for the gold/clutch situations, or be a team player and share it with loads of people? 

 

It is not Spawn-Die-Repeat when you play it properly - I have gone a full Poly game only dying 5 times due to some amazing isidas and some awesome magnum/striker play from my ex-clanmates.

 

On the other hand, FWH is a guaranteed spawn-die-repeat : there is very little you can do to increase your odds of survival.

^Well no, the only way of winning in Polygon CP is drive into pit, die repeat :unsure:

Not exactly, thats just how you see it. Once you capture the point you do not need to go to it. You must kill and block them before they can capture it. There is so much more than driving into the pit.

Considering that everyone rushes to it at once I'm not surprised everytime I 'rush into the pit' and die.

Im sorry but do you have a high ranked account?

 

Unless you do, giving things from a WO1 perspective isn't really reflective of the high level game, which is very different.

"Mindless" being the single most significant word here.

 

Not exactly, thats just how you see it. Once you capture the point you do not need to go to it. You must kill and block them before they can capture it. There is so much more than driving into the pit.

"So" mush more? Nope.  "Slightly" more?  OK, that i will buy.

During the Black Box rain bug a lot of people had Premium Passes and a lot of Pro games were going.  Here is the breakdown a CAPT account saw in the CP section:

 

 9 Arena CP games

 7 Island CP

40 Polygon CP (33 regular, 2 BP/XP, 5 Parkour)

 

Not a single game on any other map.  ---- This is why the Pro section is virtually useless to me.

 

Polygon CP is always full because people are mindlessly grinding,

 

I suspect this is a prime reason why so many players are so poor at playing regular games on regular maps. Playing Poly CP teaches you how to play Poly CP and that's it.
