Updated maps and X3 Mission chain rewards

railgun, shaft even hammer( with DA can kill light hull)can kill with one shot why don't people cry for them.

 

And 1 more thing magnum has longest reload time. 

Where to start...

 

Hammer has to be close to target in order to one-shot - and it needs DD to one-shot any hull - even light.

All the ranged turrets (rail shaft) have to come out from cover in order to hit a target. They can be fired upon and killed.

 

Unlike magnum which can do all it's damage from the safety of it's protected base.

Polygon: Awesome - far more interesting

No. Too many spots to hide. Funds will grow less faster than in the old Polygon. + I can't imagine XP/BP in the new Polygon.

 

 

tanki did great job to support old aged campers who can't move there tank. Thumbs up!

 

 

 

Looool is that Industrial Zone? This spot was always occupied by Shaft and I was happy to kill them. Now, it's only a Magnum spot and it's almost impossible to kill them from a distance.

XP/BP is a format only available in customised battle so it will no be part of the MM maps.

Still not communicate yet if MM maps will, all or partially or none, be then transferred to the customised list, but we will make enough noise that it doesn't happen for CP Polygon.  :ph34r:

That is the blue flag base. No particular Magnum safe position for blue side.

Yeah but what if they move new maps to Pro Battles too? What if, at some point, they completely delete old maps? Like they did with Silence II back then for example.

I;ve been playing highland on my low account, haven't really snuck in a game on this account yet.

 

But highland changes are just amazing. Just  feels true to the name of the map. Larger, Probably benefits long range turrets but there are so  many places to cover even when you are sniping or long ranging, you can be sniped/long ranged yourself. With all that going on, maybe fast little tanks still have a chance, but i think it will be harder for them on that map. On both sides, there are so many angles to hit the opposing side... just playing tom it's an absolute kill fast for long range turrets/medium range.

 

opinions from others who are short range, how are you faring?

 

But still, loving the highland map. Just a great job done on it. Beautiful.

Tribute has been improved tremendously. It was one of the lest interesting maps before. Now it offers so many more options.

 

 

 

At least tanki made somebody happy :)

This spot is a design disaster. So glad someone posted an image.  I played a CTF game just now. The other team was up 3-0. They had the flag and just camped up there for literally half the entire game. Every firing angle is screened. What the ____ was TO thinking? Get rid of those walls up on that platform. All of them.

do you and any other guys know anything about splash damage, ricochet effect after burning effect of firebird? thunder and ricochet can still kill you even if you are hiding behind the wall.

my point is every turrets has its unique ability if you take back them what is need of those turrets. Do your calculation which turret has more damage per minute or you can still blame magnum and claim why are you pro and magnum not.

Read the magnum threads and comment on that turret there. You are not saying anything new that has not already been thoroughly debunked.

Lol the completely "new" map is a recycled New years map from a couple years ago and most of the map alterations are for drugging campers to spend money on talent less camping.  The industrial map is so one sided and stupid now.  Every match someone mines themselves onto the ramp and there is no angle of attack, whats the point of that.

DPS?  what?  Pro ... what?

Has nothing to do with the discussion.

 

Splash damage?  A Thunder or Striker can't damage the magnum hiding in it's base behind a house. They have to expose themselves in order to make a shot.

 

Ricco has a limited ability to hit unseen targets.  But good luck finding one that can hit a magnum hiding behind a house in it's base on maps like Serpuhov.  The Ricco has to leave it's own base to make the attempt and is thus now a target.

 

You are completely ignoring that Magnum can conduct it's business from the secure area of it's base without ever exposing itself to danger.

 

No other turret can do this, and the maps were never designed for that.

Actually - strike that - it seems the revised maps are even more magnum-friendly

That silly platform on Industrial Zone now has a pill-box on top.

Might as well call it the Magnum Bunker.

Sure you think Magnum is fine.  Who wants to nerf their own turret?

No one doubts that your opinions are your opinions. The point is, this thread is not about Magnum. Instead of refuting your points here, I merely mention they have already been refuted in the magnum threads.

There are new turrets, the maps were in the game before these turrets were added, maps now changed to include, I dont see an issue with this. Magnum is not invulnerable, can be killed

 

1) by enemy Magnum indirect fire

2) barrel hit by enemy Shaft

3) close quarters assault

Removing that damned hole in the middle in Forest is most welcome. Adding territory to Highland seems odd, it provides great minimalist gameplay, similar to Iran, now no different to any other map. Widening of pathways on Red Alert, much welcome, frustrating navigation for any Tanker not using a medium or heavy hull

been only on three maps today and they seem ok for now, not sure with flag / cp or TDM battles. for DM I'm finding it to be easy at times with so many things now that Ricochet can use to its advantageous for bouncing off of things . snipers will have better advantageous then other turrets ,

 

will hold out on giving more info till i see other battle maps..

 

so it looks like missions might be leaving in the New Year seeing its been removed in Tankix is this the future also in tanki ?

wanna share my cool idea with evryone and tanki .......magma map  ride underground and thru volcanos drive in caves drive around   lava rideing up volcanos in em and down em and rocks meteors flying all around as we try and dodge em map be called magma with the magma paint ...this one be a hard challenge map  roller coaster theme map   ride walls   upside down   grab weapons like mario kart raceing grabbing stuff as we shoot a racing level start to finnish  like tanki races  tanki hotwheel cars kind of way for maps if who finnish the races in the map surviving at the end of races in a map  earns a gold box  ......also be cool idea under water sea battle  see sharks fish in the back ground battle in a fish tank kinda and water features   and some of maps have a storm rain battle  also could fight on ships boats .... another cool I dea for a map theme park   like prehistoric like jurrasic park battle  around dinosaurs  all kinds  ...... also airplanes flying around  or also what would be super cool of a map  fighting in outer space on a giant star ship  like star wars with laser guns be part of rail guns and viscous weather included and aliens  theme in back ground or star wars like  fighting on the death star  like  planets. ,,,,,,and air plane skybattle  rooftops and buildings skyscrapers and airplanes or aircraft carriers.....and for Christmas map  we battle in a giant snow globe battle a mini boss like jack frost we all fight em 12 players at a time to save santa kingdome as we all battle it to save santa  from jack frost be like a colossus  rock we gotta shoot his legs as he crumbes as he lowers to the ground  in battle   shooting at us all same time  as everyone trys to destroy jack in a snow globe  as a Christmas event  it all be in 3d and tanki music in evry map  and wind thunder storm sounds and music with the  weapon effects  with be epic wanted to share of this cool ideas with everyone and tanki   :)

Great ideas, great nick, tho dont know if Tanki can pull off anything this complex

I am to put it mildly pissed off! you have completely ruined one of the best maps on tanki, Highways, It seems that the Magnum turret has been placed formost in most of the alterations you have performed. Highways the only slight tactical advantage was that there were buildings to hide behind from any artillery barrage...not anymore theres just a large flat space with killing field written across it. your reasoning behind these modifications does not hold water "theyve been adjusted so more players can play".....??? why not just increase the amount of games available? essentially you've made the game unplayable for anything other than magnum or fast hulls with short range weaponry. the only real reason for these changes is i suspect as a cash generator. I also know that you dont give a ****e about the input you are recieving here as long as the plebs keep paying and playing. Rant over as is my subscription to this game.

I hope that this new update does not cause any bugs to the game. If you find any bugs, please report them in the bugs and glitches section of the forum.

 

I am so happy that the maps were edited to make them more suitable for gameplay.

 

The new map called Yorkshire looks too much like Kungur and similar maps. It does not resemble Yorkshire at all, and should be edited again to make it just like Yorkshire. Adding Yorkshire landmarks would be the appropriate thing to do to make it resemble this England city.

 

There should also be a new map called London, with Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and other famous London landmarks. The city of London is the greatest city in the world and the most known and popular city on Earth, just like Twiggy herself admitted that London is the greatest city in the world. Yes, this is true, however!

U onto sumthing...how about maps of all the capitals in the differing communities..London, Moscow, Warsaw, Brasilia..That way, if Tanki takes the war concept further, introduced in Battle of the Social Networks, we can invade each other, winning national teams fighting in the losing teams city :)

Correcto mundo.

 

I suspect the 2 added CP is rather the point to the changes. With a bit of good luck it will end the Poly CP mindless slaughterfest games.

 

IIRC we Androvosk (sp?) also had new CPs added.  It was perplexing that such a large map had 1 CP.

Ya but should a wargame like Tanki not have at least one slaughterfest map?
