Updated maps and X3 Mission chain rewards

With just a single point, there isn't much skill involved. It's just "which m4 isida can heal which m4 mammoth/titan for a longer time." With the three points, it now requires you to actually think beyond "go point". Also, games can't just be finished like that thanks to a single player coming/going.

That was special thing in Polygon CP.

 

If you wanna think beyond go point, go in other maps.

Yes I get that that is what makes Polygon Polygon, but don't you think that since most people have pro battles in Polygon, the battle should be able to be changed skills and teamwork rather than money and bricks?

Many at the lower ranks, even WO5s, seem to think that by bumping other tanks it automatically creates fireworks that give you free supplies, while the drugging friends are having fun in the other team.

 


 

- Overdrive needs to be removed, at least from Standard Battles.

- Crystal, Finish 1st and Capture Flag Missions need to be removed.

- Magnum needs to be nerfed, and less Magnum barriers in maps like in Tribute where you put a huge barrier next to the small bridge for Magnum, where Rails, Smokys, Thunders, Vulcans and Shafts used to fire from, now everyone is bumping you or pushing you. Well, not everyone likes Magnum if that is what you're pushing us to.

- And make Repair Kits give a flat amount of health for everyone, I say 2000hp. The 1000hp is useless when fired upon.

Magnum is not my favorite turret, I am using Magnum to finish my 9999 missions to get 105K crystals before the New Year Sale.

Its irritating to move in a small space with those fat hulls who can't turn their turret, when you aim your enemy, suddenly stupid pushing & aim lost. Its disgusting to play with noobs nowadays. 

 

That's probably why the Tanki devs decided what the game needed was wheelchair accessibility. I mean, how frustrating is it for a punk kid to get through the spaces at the bottom of the pit in Brest with a Mammoth when they can't even turn their turret? Tanki solution? Let the player improve? Hell no! Let's make the paths REAL WIDE and cram more players into every game. Then call it a "new" map.

Players operating with isida requires maximum skill, coz U need to heal your mate at any time, especially at crucial times.But nowadays, I see such isida noobs turning their big hull either slowly or in wrong direction to heal instead of quickly turning their turret. By the time they started healing, enemy got 90% of your mate, ultimately both died & battle slowly on the path of loss.

How can someone call this skill anymore.  Maybe skill pulls you towards the top end of the finishers but I've been playing DM and you never last more than a second, maybe two if you get lucky.  How s it possible to exhibit skill in this time frame?

 

EVERYONE is drugging as fast as possible.  Decide if you want DD or DA before you spawn-in.  Materialize as you punch your drug choice, then start firing as you aim.  If you live long enough click the other double drug or maybe a speed, then the other drug...usually you are dead before that and maybe to killed 1 to 3 tanks in that short space of time.  

 

The maps are TOO CROWDED.  There is no time to be crafty, it is just AGAR.IO.  The revamped maps make this problem EVEN WORSE!  It is a crime what Tanki has done to this game. 

I don't play DM, I don't like that many team up as if it were TDM versus DM.

 

DM should only exist for Parkour.

Yeah we report hackers (check my profile, banned some recently). But they stole us the Black Golds. They got rewards like crystals or paints in an unfair way.

 

Yes they are banned one month. But they will return in the game after one month with their brand new paints.

Hackers get reported to the tech support, who in turn block the accounts forever.

 

Red team will now win 90% of Kungur CP matches.  

 

Red spawn-in spots are almost on top of one of the points and super close to three more points.  Blue has to travel MUCH farther to their closest point than red has to travel to their farthest point.  

Speaking of which, how's the balance between teams on the other reworked maps? And in other game modes? Has it improved, worsened, stayed the same?

FYI, this question is not specifically aimed at you, but at anyone who played the maps.

Mixed. Generally maps that have had minor changes are better/same, while maps with more drastic changes . . . not so much (Tribute is the exception). A lot camping spots were added to maps with major changes, while minor changes were generally quality of life improvements (much needed barriers added in Wolfenstein and other castle maps, removal of the hole in Forest, the passage in Red Alert was widened).

 

Polygon has 3 CP points now, RIP.

I feel like Yorkshire is a familiar map. Did it come during last years Christmas celebrations for the assault mode?

Yes, it is the same map just without the tree in the middle.

I like all the maps, just please bring back the old Polygon... map was fine, now in CP mode it has 3 points instead of 1. Bring back old Polygon or please dont add it on Pro Battles. Map is usefull with 1 point in Pro Battles...

How about stopping all these little nitpicks your getting yourself involved with and  concentrate on opening up the new version of Tanki.  It has been almost 5 years ago since you first announced Tanki X.

 

When Is It Going To Be Finished?

Tanki X is an entirely different game no longer meant to replace TO.

Little Willie has almost everything wrong.

The maps are a mess.  Magnum is one of the more difficult turrets to use (but more fun for that very reason).  Styker is only slightly harder to use than thunder - with similar effects for one-off shots.

 

You have your opinion on the maps I have mine. All I am saying at thie early point is:  I have seen more improvements than screw-ups. I am even willing to see how the new Massacre plays out. That was my #1 favorite map and it has been completely re-worked. Open your mind to new things.

 

As for you estimation of Striker and Magnum... what nonsense. There is a reason the newest turret in the game has become the single-most over-used turret in the game. And that is not because it if hard to use. It is because it is easy to use easy easy easy, OP OP OP. It is a design disaster.

 

They won't bother fixing the errors and glitches till Tanki is released in HTML5, I mean whats the point in fixing it on Flash, then have to do it again on HTML5.

 

I would also presume HTML5 would clean up some hacks because it would run on a different 'code'. Meaning the hack would need to be reworked to suit HTML5 instead of Flash. HTML5 is also harder to work with I think because the code is more advanced. (Not 100% sure)

Yah I agree nothing will happen until HTML5 is done. The long-overdue Magnum nerf is not going to happen until then.

 

The sad problem is that Magnum users tend to get high K/D but average score, because they kill many tanks without capping flags, points, etc.

 

Magnum is only hard if you are using it for the first time. Striker is challenging because you have to lead your shots.

Yeah the devs need to look at performance from several different angles not just points.

Then use shift more often. Why do you NOT use it?  When I see a team with several stars above their tanks I almost always see a team that is losing.  I call it these the Noob All-Star Games

Yes and now it is a new addition to the available maps.  I don't see why that is a bad thing.

I was opposed to the new map. But it is here. I am not saying go back to the old map. However, I believe there should only be one point in CP mode. That is what I loved about the old Polygon. Remove points B and C please.

Wow new Highland is very different. Red team has a bit more advantage than before now that a Magnum-friendly launch area, only accessible from within their base.

 

I wonder how many Magnum protection modules will sell during Christmas sale :ph34r:

You really have got a thing for Isida players not using turrets.  Some of us prefer not to turn them - as opposed to not being able to - because with the Hornet I can turn the tank a lot quicker than the turret moves.

Maybe it is me, but the game is boring, I don't even look for the rare Polygon and Rio anymore. I guess they want us playing other maps by not making other maps better, but by ruining Polygon and Rio.
