Yorkshire is too big for 10v10. Why Highways and Solimansk have been truncated to fit 10v10 and then add a bigger map like Yorkshire?

Yorkshire looks awful now with the safety fences on the side of every fort walls.

Please remove those eyesores, the beautiful map of HNY is disfigured beyond hope.

Fences maybe be ugly but they are good addition in my opinion to prevent getting stuck in annoying ways. Perhaps they can make a new model with the same geometry  and replace them.

I agree Yorkshire is big compared to the other 10x10 maps ... but I am glad there is an exception to the rule. At least there's one. Yorkshire might be very good for DM. In a full DM game you are constantly spawning atop someone or they upon you. DM on Yorkshire might workout pretty well.

Yes the map is big. In CP, sometimes you're like "where are the enemies???"

And I agree, hugly fences.

I detested Polygon before the update but now I find myself playing it, the addition of new points has improved gameplay. it really needed a redesign IMO. I also appreciate the ''new'' Desert, defeating campers is even easier now.

So this is for polygon. I do not know if I am mistaken. But..

Blue is way overpowered here.

On every single thing.. cp maybe dunno. But Yes I believe so. Ok so blues side can easily scope and target red spawns OR red exist. Whereas buildings provide blue all the comfort in the world.

I don't know what is needed an actual deep accounting to tell you every single spot where you can be attack by blue on red side, how many turrets are able to abuse blue side, how easy it is to find spots as blue that both view your flag (blue) for defines, and attack enemy (red) while simultaneously being able to target the midfield easily. So spawn on blue side. The right hand side, By the bridge where things used to be the corner. That spot is just the worst. I go there every time as blue in CTF. And my long range support is untold domination. I can kill 3 attackers in my base, kill 3 attackers just leaving the red base, and support my blue team midfields in centre where cp is in lower valley with ease.

As red though, you are literally fighting your way out of your base every time.

Now sure. red can take those spots... but sometimes with quite some difficulties with all the long range turrets angles, with isida support.

And again, do i need to make this short and sweet? Or continue to give you some deep problem evidence with polygon.

If anyone sees red as strong on that map for the love of our sweet lord and saviour  please tell me so I can get some advantage on that map for red.

Like if blue sucks, and red is op for players, sure they can just take over. But in an even game... blues spawn and ability to take over .... is just mind boggling. The one left high up ridge. You can have turrets there, turrets on the right. And its a complete cross fire.

SERIOUSLY WHAT IS HAPPENING ON THAT MAP.

I just created a new account, i got out of the very first battle quickly and joined a second random battle.

What a surprise, It started even, I helping my team stay on par with the pros on the other team, the problem came when Ovedrives started to appear, only one in my team and I knew how to use the dang thing, while it looked like everyone in the other team was using it, and since the other team was obviously filled with pros they started using Thunders and Isidas, some in my team left and we lost 100 to 80.

I don't know why I don't leave battles on time like many do. I don't know why I keep talking about this, as if somehow one day they will get it.

PS. I know how pros and pro friends join winning battles even before Battle List is available for their low rank account.

TIP / BUG REPORT

To use Battle List before it is available for your low rank account first open a high rank account, then open Battle List, then close the account, then open your low account and you will be on the Battle List.

I would like to see the Spectrum paint in the garage. My clan leader named tank40 has this amazing paint. What I like so much about this paint is that it has a rainbow animated color changing look. This is the reason why I want it so much.

image.png

This paint is so amazing that it adds lots of pizzazz to tankers that wears it. The spectrum paint shall really jazz up the appearance of your tank.

This paint was available for purchase during the Black Friday 2017 Celebrations for 4 consecutive days, and black gold boxes dropped containers which players randomly managed to luckily pick up the Spectrum paint for free.

I did not manage to pick up the paint from black gold box containers, but when containers and black gold boxes return to Tanki Online as a permanent feature, I hope to get my hands on the amazing Spectrum paint.

I hope that the 24 updated maps, including Yorkshire will have Assault Mode as a permanent feature as well as the black gold boxes and the containers so that players can really get proper benefit from those reworked maps.

I doubt the new containers that would be permanently staying in tanki would have such a reward cause if it really contains all these limited addition paints then after a while all the players would be able to own it

So, the new maps have arrived and players are already irritated. I have seen many people spam with "#BringPolygonBack" So I have an idea

The original maps (not the new ones) will stay in the game, and the new and updated ones will stay too.  So we will keep both maps

There will be two of each map: Original Polygon and New Polygon. Original Polygon will be called Polygon and the new one will be called Polygon II. Same goes for the other maps, like Massacre and Brest and stuff.

Topic merged

The old maps will definitely not return to standard battles. This is because developers changed them to be suitable for 10x10 gameplay (and generally more balanced), so they are here to stay. It is possible, but unlikely that there will be two versions of the maps in PRO battles, but we'll see what happens. I personally don't think it's necessary since the new map versions are either a great improvement (e.g. Highland) or not that big of a difference (e.g. Bridges).

What's happened to Deathtrack and Lost Temple?  No sign of any of those at all since the update, and no mention that they were being ditched.

Good point. I do not miss Lost Temple but Deathtrack is a great map. Don't think I've seen Novel either ... that one could use improvement though. Don' think I've seen Parma  or Bobrusk ... haven't thought about it up to just now.

As for what i have seen so far, more upside than downside. Three concerns at this point.

Industrial Zone has that walled-off raise platform. It is too well screened. There is not good vantage point to fire t tnks hiding up there.

Highland has a similar area walled off.  There is no clear shot to fire into that safe zone.

---If the designers want safe camping areas they must be vulnerable from a couple vantage points. At least from one.  That means the team needs to hold the 'bunker' area AND the vantage point in order to be secure.  Right ow all it takes is gettng to the 'bunker' and seeding some mines.

---

Massacre does not have that problem. But it does have too many firing lanes the entire length of the map.  This means shifts and rails can sit at extreme distance and cover much of the spawning base area. In order to get firing lanes into the spawning areas it should be required to seize a firing location somewhere in the middle map region. It a gross mis-design to allow direct LOF from one end of the map to the other.

Magnums LIKE to think it's well-screened.  Yesterday I merely went up the ramp, dodged the mines he left, and crept up behind him on the platform and picked him off at leisure.

The wall is great, because they *think* they're safe, when they're not.

Re the missing maps - Not a huge fan of Deathtrack, and I spend most of my time in Lost Temple.

But my point is, while TO was going to great lengths to tell us what "new" maps they were giving us....... lied, in other words..... they didn't say anything about taking away existing maps either.

So that's Deathtrack, Lost Temple, Bobruisk, and I'm not sure I've seen Kolhoz since.

Yeah, well, what happens when they lay a couple mines? Exactly.

That just tells me he was a scrub who doesn't know how to use mines properly.

Dang, we must all be doing it wrong. -_-

He placed it the same way most people do, and if you're in a small enough tank you just go round.

Unless he's had a chance to lay more than one....

Well that is exactly what I mean. You can go root him out but that means charging up a map and most likely mines. There should be som angle it has to worry about even if it is a tough shot.

For example I was able to hit the IZ platfor from atop the shipping container near the DA drop. that required shooting thorugh a narrow angle left by the hanger (or shed) roof and rocking my hull each shot. It was not at all a routine shot and from enemy territory too but I was able to hit... then the target went behind the all better/ I lost even that shot. The bunker is too well screened.  Maybe wall fragments or "dragon teeth". Give some gaps to shoot through.

Yeah I think we can add Kolhoz to the list.  That map need re-design anyway.

Maybe they just left these out so players would get more use of thenew maps right away.  If not the 'sameness' of few available is already taking effect.

Chances are, if you have one mine, you have plenty more.

Massacre now is for Shafts, Rails, Magnums and Vulcans with a large screen monitor. I liked the old Massacre, now I'll try to avoid it.

I think they forgot to tell us that they where removing all the maps that are not in the list.

Who designed Silence CP? Can I know the name of this genius? Red team has a huge advantage. Smh.

Its Blue team as always, not red team. Its still the Blue team having the maximum advantage. Juts play with Magnum like during the old map & U can blew away red team into pieces.

Yes Massacre map is Shaft-friendly & especially it supports Rail & Thunder above other turrets.

When playing on the blue team on Highland everything is fine, but when playing on the red team side on highland, there are too many buildings in the way, so it makes it difficult to target and hit enemies from afar. Highland needs to have more open spaces on the red and blue sides so that it makes it a better ground for Shaft players as well as Striker players.

The Yorkshire map is the same map as the Happy New Year map from last year. The three castles are the locations of the control points and the opposite upper elevation areas on the opposite side of this map is where the three flag poles are located.

To be honest with you, the Yorkshire map is nothing more than a duplicate, without the big Christmas tree in the middle of the map.

Yorkshire must be edited again so that it looks and behaves differently, because there is no point on having such a map which is just another version of an old map.

Why have a new map based on an old version of a previously created map?
