Updated maps and X3 Mission chain rewards

RIP novel, magistral, bobruisk, cologne, deathtrack, esplanade, factory, gubakha, koholz, molotov, opposition, parma, scope (actually, good riddance), skylark, subway, stadium (although this map was for long-range turrets exclusively), maddness, gravity, and monte carlo. You were good maps that could hold, or nearly hold, around 20 players.

Moving all the control points in Kungur toward the center of the map is a bad idea. You're basically just making the map smaller when you do that. If anything you should add points and spread them out more, put a couple way in the corners of the map. You guys are doing the exact opposite of what you should be doing.

 

Highways: placement of flags is probably good. The rest of it is a bad idea. You can't sneak into the back of the enemy's base, you can't even go along the ridges on the side. There goes half the fun. All you need to do now is make the bridges lower so jumps will be boring too and then there will be no reason at all for me to play the map.

They should really do something the ping had been very high recently I just played two battles and can only play properly for ten to twenty minutes and the rest is looking at the other players ‘teleporting’around.

Are all these maps really gone from Standard battles?

 

Also, no surprise why the shift to 10x10. Map diversity needs to go away so that the Matchmaking system won’t infuriate players. Too late, IMO.

Omg Bobruisk yes, I love this map and it's now gone from Standard battles.

 

What is the goal of developers? Please tell me. Do they want to piss us off?

 

Esplanade, Molotov, Skylark, Gravity... Love them too.

 

Instead, we have now 5 Red Alert CTF, 4 Yorkshire CTF, 4 Tribute CTF. Wow. What a variety of choice...

Actually, I'm sorry to say that I don't like alot of this update. All the small maps have been enlarged, and alot of good maps are gone from the Battle list pool. Can something please be done about this? Like returning some of the other maps which are no longer present in the battle pool? Thanks. ^_^

Yes, that's another thing, lag has gone up for me (Ping). 

Oh, Skyscrapers and Edinburg and Chernobyl are bye-bye as well, though around the right size.

Well they certainly did change Industrial Park and got rid of the bunker. They changed it a LOT.

 

I played CTF si I did not see the CP map yet. I hope they moved the CP points.  They are all packed togerher.

It's nice that someone is listening to our feedback and changed Industrial Zone. Worse camping spot is still camping spot, but at least it's better and we'll see how it works out.

I would be much happier if you add more UNCHANGED maps to non-PRO battle map pool ,than only 24 changed maps.(Some changes are really bad).

Before 3X Missions end you should work on balancing the game:

 

- No more than 3 or 4 friends per team

- No friends in opposing teams in Standard battles

- Remove Finish 1st, Crystal and Flag missions

- Nerf Magnum, nerf Fire alteration, nerf Vulcan, at a distance it should have lower damage

 

I'm tolerating all these because of 3X missions.

nerf Vulcan?    And yet many players say it's one of the weakest - maybe better than Striker. Maybe.

 

Doing damage at distance is one of it's only benefits - it does 50% "weak damage".

 

Guess how much "weak damage" Thunder has...
