Updated maps and X3 Mission chain rewards

If it is possible people here want the opponent should greet them with bouquet of flower instead to kill them. Comeon guys what you want? This is game someone is going to kill you anyway so why you cry. If some turret is OP then you can also use it who stop you. If you want each turret do same amount of damage then what is the need of new turret. 

Just buy same turret?  That just doubles-down on the issues.

Game would be just SUPER if everyone used the same turret right?

Change the name from Tanki-Online to Magnum Online.  Whoo-hoo.

You seem to be missing the point.

Magnum (as designed) is not right for the game.

 

The fact it can use the camera angles to find targets while it remains untouchable by the enemy is a huge problem.

Maybe magnum should have restricted camera angles.  Without spotters calling shots it should be a guessing game where it's shells land.

 

OR...

 

In order to launch those powerful salvos it needs to lower stabilizing spades into the ground = no movement. Shaft can't move in scope mode.

Otherwise it has to use a less powerful arcade mode.  Like.... Shaft.

Osa is unchanged :P

It has had some changes. At least one new ramp was added that I recall.

The Magnum excusers seem to be saying the game Rock-Paper-Scissors would be a better deigns if it were Rock-Rock-Rock.

 

But we all know the better game coms from greater complexity not less,

. I recall while I was testing the turret in question on Lost Temple, a guy entered and it became a duel. Guy attacked and I put a hit on. Enemy then took me out during reload. On the long run back for the enemy carrying my flag, I respawned, calmly took the usual spot, dialed in the settings, timed it right, and landed a shell on the guys turret from across the map, while guy was about a metre away from enemy base, destroying him. This sort of play is pro beyond measure, and why we have a turret like Magnum in the game.

 

 Tanki is a wargame, war is not fair. It is similar to the position with snipers. The best answer in battle to a sniper is to deploy your own sniper.

The bolded part goes a long why to explain why there are two camps in the magnum debate. Magnum defenders think of this as a great demonstration of skill.  Magnum critics see this as a great demonstration of the turret's OP design.  Is it skill to remember a couple numbers then hit the same spot every single time? Some players will say yes other will say not so much.

 

Tanki is not war this is a game with tanks in it. It is not a war. Wars are unfair. A game better be fair. If not it is A] not really a game at all and B} whatever  it is it is something few people will bother playing.

 

It is in every Tanki player's own self-interest to see their turret is well-designed and fits in with the rest of the game. That does not apply to Magnum only.  But today, Magnum is in a class by itself. Other turrets needs some fine-tuning.  Magnum need a complete overhaul.

So ya got nothing.  That's what I thought.

 

Some say that trying is what counts. Meh.

In long range magnum is next to nothing it is only effective in medium and short range.

 

people thing magnum is op because it has high damage + splash damage but people ignore they don't have protection against them. Soon people will purchase magnum module and every thing back to normal.

Maybe you are not very good using it long-range, but there are many users that are.  Lost temple is now a haven for magnum users and that is L-O-N-G range.

Uncle why complain if you are not magnum user.  There are certain maps which are good for magnum try avoid them( PM me if you want there name). If you don't like magnum try xp/bp. So rather than advocating for balance changes to a new weapon (which has happened for EVERY OTHER TURRET) your suggestions are that everyone playing the game should

- Buy Magnum or

- Avoid maps that might have Magnum or

- Play xp/bp (LMAO)

You keep using that phrase "crying for no reason". Interesting.

 

Also it appears you have not read the postings on the last few pages, as there are suggestions there.

short summary of ideas already suggested.

- Tweak damage

- Tweak splash damage

- Tweak splash radius

- Tweak re-load time

- Restrict camera angle to Magnum does not know it actually has a target behind that building it can't see through.

- Restrict it's ability to deliver primary full-damage salvo by only allowing this when fixed in position (must deploy spades to fix and pull back spades to move)

 

Many, many different possibilities to adjust magnum for the better of the game.

With Overdrive, Crystal Missions, Magnum, Triple Mission and the useless Repair Kit you have made the game unenjoyable.

Only pro battles are enjoyable now, and it depends of the map...

5 sec is time of m4 magnum 7 sec for m0 that''s a lot

 

the problem of magnum is it can't hit a target which is moving fast like light hull and it is very hard to hit same target continuously magnum is more guess work in starting few shots.  that's why it need more splash damage area if splash damage area is reduced then no one will play with magnum. Yes but one thing can be done like damage can be proportional to distance.

So, the new maps have arrived and players are already irritated. I have seen many people spam with "#BringPolygonBack" So I have an idea

 

The original maps (not the new ones) will stay in the game, and the new and updated ones will stay too.  So we will keep both maps

 

There will be two of each map: Original Polygon and New Polygon. Original Polygon will be called Polygon and the new one will be called Polygon II. Same goes for the other maps, like Massacre and Brest and stuff.

Yorkshire is too big for 10v10. Why Highways and Solimansk have been truncated to fit 10v10 and then add a bigger map like Yorkshire?

Yorkshire looks awful now with the safety fences on the side of every fort walls.

Please remove those eyesores, the beautiful map of HNY is disfigured beyond hope.

I feel like tanki is making stuff too easy for noobs and beginners. The added the battle button (I VERY MUCH preferred it before that), matchmaking system, and other stuff. I preferred it back when you could choose all battles and maps, when druggers didn't change the flow of the battle (back when you could choose fair maps and just leave and create a new battle) and when noobs who don't turn turrets weren't as common. I also see too many "premature" tankers drugging. I see sergeants in my alt drugging just as much as 3rd lieutenants. It's fine if you are trying to rank quickly, but half of them don't even turn the turret! I think there are too many sales, deals, and real money spent for a fair game, no matter what you try to update.

Fences maybe be ugly but they are good addition in my opinion to prevent getting stuck in annoying ways. Perhaps they can make a new model with the same geometry  and replace them.
