Those of you complaining about magnum, please understand that ES players like us really need it to fight flying brazilians!! what's worse, being at the mercy of an overpowered turret that you can use too if you want to, or being at the mercy of people who can fly.

I think they need to just fully rework the rewards for the chain rewards. Knowing that 3X chain rewards have been there since half a year already, it should be alright to predict that the analysts have enough data to work with to figure out a constant and keep those new constants in the game for good. If it's been there for half a year already, I think we can be assured that they plan on doing something about it by the end of this year. ANALYSTS, if you see this, I hope you've been taking notes on this! (notes as in tons and tons of spreadsheets aha)

There's more people that use Magnums than "can fly".

So I'm still sticking with "overpowered turret" being worse.  I mean you're not helping you case by admitting it's OP...

nothing to do with being overpowered, we just need the only turret that can shoot vertically to be powerful enough.

and have you ever tried playing on the ES/BR servers? there are more flying brazilians than magnums.

also, the flying people aren't the same as the ones here. here they only jump to catch a gold box and then quickly leave the battle, there they're fighter planes.

So you are complaining about jump hackers in a community that one has to seek out intentionally? And you use that to justify keeping your OP crutch OP? Wow talk about lack or awareness.

Sorry you lost your forest exploit where you parked in the hole and OP'ed other players to death. Oh wait no I am not.

nerf Vulcan?    And yet many players say it's one of the weakest - maybe better than Striker. Maybe.

Doing damage at distance is one of it's only benefits - it does 50% "weak damage".

Guess how much "weak damage" Thunder has...

With Thunder you can miss shots and it has a long reload, with Vulcan it's hard to miss the constant shooting and the damage is constant too, and it takes a long time to start to overheat.

It already does practically no damage at a distance.

Yes it does, most maps are medium sized now.

You only need to have line of sight for less than a second to do 700 dmg or whatever it is. With Vulcan the enemy has to sit there for you to register some sort of damage. Not sure how < 3s reload is "long." Twins and Ricochet do more damage and can shoot for a longer time than Vulcan, with only slightly less range.

There's a reason you see way more Thunders than Vulcan's in most battles.  Because Thunder is more effective.

People buy the turret that does well and earns exp/and/or/kills.  You don't see many people buying Vulcan or Striker because currently they are not that effective.

My W02 account will buck the trend and buy Vesuvius kit just to try something different. If i don't like - oh well - not end of the world...

I think you should might as well keep the 3x mission chain rewards in the game forever since you can't decide when to remove it.

its not that they can’t decide. It’s because they keep it until the end of year

The updated Polygon may as well be a new map. Almost unrecognizable. Not sure why they did that.

As for X3 rewards, I doubt they will stay into 2018. Dropping back to 1x is risky to player retention. My guess is that they will settle on 2x as the new normal or tweak the system so that it is rewarding in other ways.
