Turret firepower should be related to strength of hull

Recommended Posts

Turret firepower should be related to strength of hull, meaning stronger hull should provide greather firepower of the same turret.

Example: Magnum on wasp should have less firepower then magnum on Mammoth.

If Mammoth is 3x stronger then wasp, magnum on mammoth should have 3x higher damage.

It's not realistic that wasp carry strong and heavy weapon and gives same damage as stronger hulls.

This doesn't make sense in terms of neither game balance, nor general logic. The hull is just a method of transporting the turret, and the hull's size, speed and armour only affects the speed of transportation, protection from attackers and cost of construction. In real life during WW2, massive, heavy guns were often mounted on weak hulls, but that didn't reduce their firepower.

Even if we don't compare Tanki to real life, it's pretty obvious that this will make heavy hulls significantly better, thus destroying the balance between hulls and making light hulls pretty much useless. So you're suggesting a game-breaking change without stating any benefits it will have, other than making the game more realistic, which Tanki isn't trying to be anyway.
