Mines should not be visibile

The real world purpose of war is to kill someone, while the purpose of the game is to have fun while winning (and even don't leave you completeley demotivated when you lose).

If you drive up a pathway and explode because of a mine, you can at least see of there are others.. and you so can plan your next move. While with your proposal you would rush blind into everything. Usually players dislike stuff that kills out of the blue sky (or out of the green earth). The limited visibility of mines today gives you this slight chance to evade death. Also by making you see it coming (even if it's too late to break) it makes you know what happens.

So it's better for the gameplay as well as for the players fun, if mines remain with the low visibility range which they have today

Totally agree.

Also that is why I don't like magnum

That's why Magnum shells leave a trace in the air while they fly through it, and why Rail leaves a trace too. By this means you can spot the gunner and go for a hunt ;)

I HATE MAGNUM JUST COMES OUT OF NOWHERE UGHHH   -_-

Mines power should be increased as the rank goes up. Cuz they are almost not effective in high ranks against M4 hulls.

I agree since viking, titan, and mammoth can get passed mine power

Mine needs a little buff. It costs same as other supplies but it isn't that much effective... most of them gets wasted.

Supplies prices will never change. Hazel stated that when people complained about the repair kit nerf.

They are good if used in the right circumstances.

Even if a mine doesn't blow up, I wouldn't necessarily consider it wasted. If, for example, you are using viking. You have the flag and are running from the defenders in wide open terrain. You place a mine to try to get the hornet Isida right on your tail. He sees you place the mine, and since his health is low, has to go around it. This puts you out of his range, and he can no longer damage you. Just as useful as if he had died.

In the real world, mines are usually buried, that's why you nor anyone else (including allies) can't see them. The ones in Tanki aren't buried, that's why you see them. Unlike real world mines that don't discriminate (they don't care who they kill), Tanki mines care.

Thats certainly one way of looking at it.

This was related to another suggestion: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=366345

This will bring new purpose for magnums(to clear mines in front of attackers), and even introduce new tank into game minescleaner(he could see and remove mines without exploding them),

Yeah, like  a minesweeper but on land instead of water. It could appear randomly (does not belong to any side) to collect mines. It can be destroyed, but difficult to achieve because of it's armor plating. But when it is destroyed....look out!! One huge KA-BOOM!!  :D

That gives me an idea for a TDM Boss Battle on Massacre. But this is not the place to discuss that.
