Enough of throwing the towels away, grabbing your chairs and playing Tanki Online - it's time to go out into the environment ... again! Behold, the second Tanki Online Scavenger Hunt!

_____________________________________________________________________________________

What To Do?

In the following section, you will find a collection of words. You have to either take a picture of the word given or take a picture of that word written anywhere (billboards, road signs, restaurants, etc.).

The person who manages to find the words in the shortest amount of time will be declared the winner.

The Words:

Grab pictures of the following fifteen words:

  • Rock
  • Gold
  • Map
  • Pass
  • Wave
  • Strawberry
  • Mint
  • Pajamas
  • Silver
  • Mountain
  • Jam
  • Ant
  • Factory
  • Station
  • Sweater

  The Rules:

  • While taking your picture, you must include a paper that has the following written on it:
                 • Your nickname;
                  • The name of this contest;
                  • The name of the thing you are taking a picture of;
  • Take only one picture of any of the given words. Do not take more than one picture of a word.
  • After you have taken a picture, upload it to an appropriate image sharing website and post it here*.
  • Please include your entries in a spoiler**.
  • Reserving posts will result in immediate disqualification. Make sure to post your entry ONLY when you have taken the pictures of all fifteen words. DO NOT make a post earlier, it will get removed.

*How to post an image / **How to make a spoiler

Prizes:

First place: 40 000 Crystal.png
Second place: 30 000 Crystal.png
Third place: 20 000 Crystal.png
Fourth and Fifth place: 10 000 Crystal.png

Example:

An example of a correct, eligible entry is under the spoiler below.

My Entry:

"Holiday"

Tips:

Hey, I don't know, but if you try to take all the pictures from your home, you might have a lesser chance to win than people who managed to take the pictures in various places, such as road systems, beaches, parks or even simply the backyard!

For paints, you can either take a picture of the texture or the name of the paint written anywhere. For example, a texture of the Tiger paint will count as an eligible entry. Relating isn't allowed. For example, if you take a picture of something fat in an entry for Mammoth, it won't count. Real images or wordings only.

I'm repeating: make sure to post your entry ONLY when you have taken the pictures of all fifteen words. DO NOT make a post earlier, it will get removed.

Deadline: 31st January, 2018
Status: OPEN

So tankers, grab those boots, take a walk outside and see how many words can you find. Good luck!

You need to take images of the words, not the words themselves written anywhere. For example, you can take a picture of a bottle of jam to enter for the Jam word. Similarly, take a picture of a mountain to enter for the Mountain word. If there's no mountains near your area, you can find one in a book and take a picture of that. Only as a last resort you should go for a word written somewhere (newspaper, book, dictionary etc.) but note, that will decrease your points from winning from someone who took pictures of the the things themselves. Please read the rules carefully.

I read the rules and it's different from what you're telling me.

the rules state that the winner is the one who finds all the words in the shortest time. it also states that you can take a picture of the word written anywhere.

You either have to take the image of the word itself, like the examples I gave you above, and only as a last resort you can take a picture of that word written anywhere. I even gave an example myself in the main post, take a look. Contact me in PM if you still don't understand, I will be happy to help! ^_^

See the first edition winners of  [issue 60] [Results] Tanki Online Scavenger Hunt  and mimic the quality of their hunt and you will win the second edition.

Winners aren't awarded based on who posts all valid entries quickest are they?

Just to make sure it's fully about the quality of the pics?

Waves don't exist in the ocean only people, you can make them in your home. Don't see mountains in your area? Be creative, make one yourself!

Addressing the prizes mystery: In a nutshell, he/she who completes all of the images required and posts here first will be the first winner (if his/her entry is completely legitimate and eligible). The person who posts second will be the second winner and so on. However, there's a catch. In the contest, it says that you need to leave, take a walk outside and try to find these things there. If someone just opens up a dictionary, takes images of the words and posts first, I simply won't choose them over someone who spent time outside and was creative. So, the person with outdoor and creative images will be chosen over someone who just picks up the words in a book, a newspaper and so on. However, if you can't find something anywhere you look or go, only then you should resort to finding that word written somewhere in a book, page, Internet etc.
