Declined Try on store paint before buying

Paints in the garage can be tried on before buying. In the thumbnail, the paint has more detail and is neatly laid out. But when you put it on a tank, some of the detail is lost.

 

A couple examples are: Night..the bats look like black spots on a tank. Another example is Chainmail..the design looses some of its detail and the orange isn't as visible. Carbon, Chainmail and Rhino look nice in the thumbnail, but on the tank, they just look like gray paint. The thumbnail can be misleading.

 

Because the paints cost so much, why not let us buy exactly what we want, instead of what we think it should look like.

You can already check the looks of any paint with any combination using the tool in our wiki. Just go to this page, open the "Shop Paints" spoiler and click the paint you want to preview. Then select the turret and hull. You should get something like this: http://tnkscr.net/m6BkSW.jpg

 

At the moment it's not planned to add shop paint previews in-game.

If the wiki shows all combos with a paint, why does the paint preview feature exist in the garage? Its kind of a stupid reason to decline something since most players dont even know theres a wiki, much less this specific feature of it. Its like tanki is trying to squeeze all the money they can out of people...
