Shaft; I am quite confident I can kill 80% of the tanks on the battefield in 1 shot because the heavy hulls stay put most of the time.

The thing deals 6000 damage with double power. I am also amazed of how versatile Shaft is with its arcade shots.

My favorite M4 hull would be an allrounder like Hunter and Viking.

I had Viking M4 before they basically swapped stats between Hunter and Viking.

Unfortunately that is my only medium hull I have at M4.

Shaft, versatile? Ough, never thought of it but nice to hear!

Technically, all M4 items should have equal power, so if you are thinking long term, then it's a bad idea to buy a turret or hull just because it's the most OP at the time. Buy what you like most.

I agree, there's enough versatility on the battlefield. Whenever I switch to a different turret I am starting a whole new kind of gameplay. Pros and cons weigh eachother out.. perhaps a little less in the short range turrets but that is just my perspective.

If you look at Magnum though, those players have had a significant advantage from the point the damn thing got introduced.

What is that like; 8 months now? No way the developers haven't noticed Magnum being such a misfit in these 8 months. You can't get a more obvious example of an overpowered turret. The maps are not designed for something that fires parabolically.. no.. it's the other turrets that aren't adapted to Magnum's capabilities.

Are they going to nerf it once more and more people have invested crystals in Magnum?

I don't want to go on and on because everyone in the forum knows Magnum is overpowered (Perhaps I should exclude Riddler)

Anyway, there's something fishy going on here.. it seems like they're holding back the nerf.

Completely agree. I thought the great Magnum nerf was due in October. Then again we are at the doorstep of another Holiday and you know how they like to nerf before a good sale...

Regarding Shaft... it’s become a viable melee weapon, which I just don’t get. That was never it’s role in the game.

Completely agree. It's not normal for a new turret to comprise 20-30% of all turrets in battles, especially if you compare it to Striker, which is so rare to find in an actual battle. And I'm sure that most players buy it because it's overpowered, not because they like the gameplay mechanics.

Ha! no- they nerf after the sale, when everybody is nice and ready to use their shiny new OP Magnum.   ;)

Ikr, Smoky isn't as good as it used to be.

In which case they would have just nerfed it after the Halloween 50% sale. By then pretty much anyone high rank who was even remotely interested in Magnum not only had it but also had it MU’d to at least 12/20 steps.
