Assault Mode arrives December 13th

That's at the END of every round. I suggest that teams should change sides in the MIDDLE of every round, as well as at the end.

Not a good ideea at all. That could end up in a waste of time for each team to constantly change their equipment between atack/defence style, which can proove to be a bad thing for those who dont have many options to choose from garage.

Still think it's a bad idea.  Let the natural defenders play defense and the natural attackers play offense.  If it turns out that on certain maps certain sides have an advantage then there are two options: either change the positions of the points or change the rate of the point increases if there's a general trend among all the maps.

 

There is definitely more score opportunity on the red side but many will choose blue for the simpler and k/d-padding gameplay.

I don't see any maps which will favor both attacking & defending sides. Just wait for tomorrow, you will see all the battles will be one-sided & finish before 15 minutes unless mad drugging is there. 

 

People will choose sides where they can win & earn crystals quickly, not a particular side.

 

Plenty of players recently joining Legend ranks don't have a full garage.  Takes a long time to accumulate that.  So new legend players can be at a large disadvantage when legend 28 is considered same "rank" as legend 1,2,3, etc.
 
Why would "attacking" magnum need to move up?  Red magnum can stay in it's base and just keep lobbing suppressing fire on the blue flag-cap area.
I hardly get new Legend rank players in battles :( How will an attacking magnum kill a hiding tank or an isida in Highway-like large map or uneven Massacre map or a map where defending tanks hide behind any wall ??? They will fire & deal damage but defending isidas are there to heal them. Not always you fire at perfect length in large maps. Your point is correct for Highland, Red Alert, Year 2042 like maps, just sit & kill in any side :P

Assault is pretty good but technically isn't a "new mode" since we've had it last 2 years for Christmas........... But its still nice to have another mode ( which will put my team in favor for the Defense side :D #Ram #Upgrades :ph34r:)

Assault on these small maps will be hard on defenders I think. By the time they leave their own base area they will be quite close to their goal. But it is good to have the new mode in the game.

 

AS encouraging is the announcement they did make some changes to the new maps. Go away IZ bunker!

 

Now they have to bring back the non-modified maps like Bobrusk, Molotov, Parma and so forth.

Small maps are not in non-PRO battles, you can say medium-sized map like Highland, Red Alert where defending side can't stop attacking side easily unless heavy mad drugging occurs.

I never saw 6 magnums in a team, never 6 thunders in a team, neither 6 railguns in a team, neither 6 ricos in a ream , nor 6 twins in a team, never 6 strikers in a team, never 6 smokies in a team, neither 6 firebirds in a team etc but all crap I am seeing is 6 healers in a freaking enemy team. I am DONE!

Small maps are not in non-PRO battles, you can say medium-sized map like Highland, Red Alert where defending side can't stop attacking side easily unless heavy mad drugging occurs. 

I am not talking about Island etc. I am talking about at least a dozen maps that were on the Nasic list until the day these modified maps were released. At the same time they deleted these dozen+ maps that are also in the medium category. Lost Temple was one and it is big but the others were in the medium range.  

 

MM isn't a thing yet so there is no reason to give us only 10x10 maps.  Even with MM live I see no logical reason why there cannot be some 8x8 and 12x12 maps in the mix.

Surely you have seen 6 railguns in a match. 6 Ricos quite possibly too. I do not think I have seen 6 Magnums but then again it is the newest turret. Give players time.  And yes I have seen 6 Isidas in at least two games with me being one of the six.  I think one time we won and the other time we lost. Having so many short-rage turrets leaves a team with a big weakness.

 

I've destroyed 3-Isida chains solo several times.

Yes agree with you, they need to release medium-sized maps & remove large maps since they reduced to 10-players a team. In this AS mode, 10 players in large maps is too tough to defend 2 points against 3 flags. Its utter childish for me. 

 

I see 6 Magnums in a team during this recent giveaway in Highland map. May be we will see more in AS mode  :ph34r:

Go play Rio and see if you find Magnums.  There are plenty.

Kunger always has a ton of Rail.

 

And there's a reason you will NEVER see 6 strikers on a team. :D :lol: :huh: :mellow:

I do not think there will be 4 flags and 2 capture points I reckon there will be one of each.

 

I've seen 4 magnums on one team and 6 in the same game before. That's 25% to 30% of all the tanks. You are right that it will only get worse the longer the thing is left the #1 OP turret in the game.

 

Go play Rio and see if you find Magnums.  There are plenty.

in the middle?! Why?!

Like football. Players switch sides halfway through the match to ensure the game is fair. The reason this is needed is so that on case some maps are slightly unbalanced, both teams will get a chance to play on the stronger side.

 

Wouldn't hurt to implement this in other game modes too, but not sure about that...
