It pays to drug...sadly

Part of the problem is having one common server.  Often get team-mates that don't speak same language.

Clan-members that join same team in a battle have huge advantages - language being one of them.

I often changed those DM missions as well - unless the finish first x-times showed up.  That was always luck completing that one.

Once you've accumulated a larger supply stash from the weekly bonuses you can start completing the occasional DM missions - preferably if for a decent crystal reward.

learn russian?

you mean you still haven't learnt russian after playing the game much longer than i did?

This is why I much prefer NS battles, so much more fun.

If you can find one that is; a lot of NS battles are XP/BP nonsense and everyone wants to complete missions.

The Overdrive update wrecked it all.

The overdrive update even ruined part of the NS battles. Finding one without any drugs or drops is near impossible; they're even more of a niche. These are the kind of battles where teamplay is crucial and most of those who're playing there know it.

I haven't found one in days, perhaps I am playing the wrong online game... I didn't played the wrong game when I started.

Are you kidding?  Half the players I end up teamed with can't drive, let alone have any comprehension of tactics.

They drive over you, into you when you're aiming, steal your kills, shunt you out the way when you're under a dropping supplies box, push you off hills and haven't a clue how to steer in a straight line.

Tactics?  I'd settle for them being less of a hazard than the other team.

I can identify with that. When using Shaft, I look around for a target before looking into the scope. Many times I've had the enemy dead to rights and one of my teammates nudges me, exposing my laser beam, when there was absolutely no reason for the nudge. I think they are too lazy to use A-D or left/right arrow keys. Same with Railgun. Mindless players nudge them, too.

I love a good Isida player on my team. Unfortunately, some of them don't know where reverse is. They get directly behind you and refuse to move when you need to take cover or reload. Eventually, they need to reload, too. But do they move? No. You're still exposed and die. Don't they realize that they can heal just as effectively from the side as they can from the back?

Then there's the one that blocks you when you have the flag and running for your life. The Isida drives right in front of you, healing while your tail is becoming swiss cheese. You die, (because Isida has blocked you) Isida grabs the flag and gets one shotted. What has been accomplished?

I'm sorry for calling out the Isidas. Right now, I'm aggravated because I was just in a battle where our Isida cost us a lot of points by being a complete noob.

No you are absolutely right about the Isidas. Some think they have to weld themselves to your butt. When I play Isida I pride myyself at driving through a maze of team mates healing them, bumping no one, and staying out of their LOF.

Equalt time time, so many shooters do not know how to use an Isida either. Screen my tank with yours. Don't run for cover and leave me hanging. If I am there to heal you when we need to break a defense that is the time to dial up the agdrerssion not keep playing peek-a-boo in skrimish mode.

Players should play both to know how "the other side" tihnks.,

To be fair, I have to point out an Isida/Wasp we had in a battle a couple weeks ago. Wish i could remember his/her nickname. This player seemed to know all the tricks for survival/healing abilities. The Isida knew that most weapons will shoot the closest tank when two or more are in tandem and used it to the utmost advantage, keeping in mind that his job was to keep teammates alive. We were playing CTF. When accompanying the flag bearer, instead of following and getting killed, Isida would go in front with the turret facing the flag bearer and keeping pace. Yes, the flag bearer took some hits, but the Isida didn't take any and stayed alive, healing until they reached the base. Some of the players were so impressed with Isida's survival and healing abilities, they gave the Isida the cap.

Might that have been Isida-Sam?  A 10 crystal, blue Isida/Wasp?

Absolutly there is more to playing Isida than just beaming heals. I played a game on Highland CTF the other day with a Dictator/Isida and shooter tanks who knew how to coordinate. We made about three steals in a row. The shooter was the tipof our spear busitn through while we healed. Then on retreat the Dictator backup healing the flag carrier. I followed the flag carrier healing it and absorbling shots. The flag was in a healing sandwich. Sure I blew up but the flag got back all the time. At worst the Dictator isida would survive to pick it up.If he did he always gave it away.

Many players are very generous with giving flags for the caps. That game the team gave me two or three. I made sure to give the dctator one. It was embarrassing to be given it so often.

(I also like to give the big magnum who pays defense the entire game a cap so long as I do not have a cap mission.)
