Ideas for the Garage!

The garage is kinda dull, and I know this may not seem important, but might make it interesting. Say you switch hulls, your tank will drive off and out of the garage and the tank with the selected hull will drive in.

Or, when you change turrets an arm will come down from the ceiling, pull off the turret and come back down with the selected one. If you change the paint, maybe out of the floor, sprayers could come and repaint your tank with the selected paint.

Maybe you buy some supplies? Maybe a few boxes of double damage, the usual double damage box will float down with the parachute, and a number of xX will show up, ex: x5, and disappear.

I'm not sure what would be done for modules, but say you don't want these animations, then make it an option! I know this isn't important by any means, but would be a lot better than a simple switch-a-roo!

As with most other ideas suggesting various visual effects, this is unlikely to ever be implemented, despite the fact that it would be a pretty cool idea. The limitations of Flash game engine might make it difficult to add something like this. It may also cause the garage to take longer to load and lag a lot, but above all - it's just an unnecessary feature that is not worth wasting developers' time on.

Suggestion:

Have a selection filter in the garage for modules.
eg, Clicking the isida icon together with the rail icon, will show you only the modules that have isida and rail in them.

Edit: This is now outdated

Should this get accepted? Let's focus on the bigger question.

Why is "None" an option?

It doesn't have to be. Don't take it too literally. You get the general idea.

It doesn't have to be in green writing either, nor does it need square check boxes with white backgrounds and a black X.

A bit useless nah? Actually, a map filter would be way more useful than a module filter, in my honest opinion. But indeed, "filter" ideas really need to be implemented in the game.

no offense absolutezero but this is useless on my opinion, because this won't actually make it easier to go threw the garage.

It's not there to make it easier to go through the garage. It's there to make selections easier and faster.

If you don't think it will do this then leave it switched off by selecting "Off"

And as your best module is the In-Love Legacy one and your most used module is Zero, then I'm not surprised you say this.

Try having 40 to choose from quickly.

I've been playing for years and it was only the other day I realised I had nothing effective against smoky + twins so I bought a module. I wasted far too long in the garage instead of the battle searching for something suitable.

nic idea :)

On your picture it looks like the filter section is part of the scrolled banner hosting all modules.. and so it will scroll out to the left if I scroll through my modules. I'd propose to leave the filter always visible on the left, while only the rest of the banner section is affected by the scroll bar.

We need a storage room in the garage. We need to be able to move infrequently used items to a storage room (a subfolder). The storage room would be a location in the garage, like turrets and hulls.

While the automatic sorting is useful, it would be much more convenient, much cleaner, to be able to reduce my garage locations to a few items each, the items I use frequently. We would need to be able to move them back to the main garage, but a check box on the item should suffice. Turn on check box to show in storage room. Turn off check box to show in main garage location.

I'm not CDO, but I do have OCD tendencies.

I don't know if this is idea will be approved but if you want, we could split the paints into categories of paints:

Camouflage- paints with camouflage patterns would be put in this category. Ex. tundra, winter, corrosion, marine, dirty.

Unique- paints with a more unique pattern would be put in this category. Ex. sparks, inferno, emerald, golden star.

Premium- paints that are bought from the shop would be put in this category. Ex, liquid metal, lime, neuron, mint.

Special- paints that aren't fitting in the first 3 categories would be in this one. Ex. premium, master of parkour, holiday.

Standard- paints with just one color might be put in this category. Ex. green, blue, black, red, orange, white.

Animated- paints with a moving or changing image on the tank are put in this category. Ex. Flow, nightmare, matrix, vertigo, spectrum, galaxy.

OR

we can just create tabs and name them.

Put the Protection Modules in alphbetical order.  The animal names are cute and I like them but it is needlessly cumbersome to find a specific module.  This comes into play when shopping for equipment kits.  Kit blah blah comes with Rhino TX-D protection...then its a search for "Rhino".  If it was just after "Puma" it would be easy.

It would also be very cool if you could just create your own module with any one/two/three combinations of turrets.
