They weren't referring to the New Year celebrations here, but to plays for next year (2018). Some of these plans include the Rugby mode on the Stadium map, Assault tournaments and the new game modes in PRO battles.

Maybe a good moment to bring the crystal box back into the rugby mode. Use a 100 crystal box instead of a ball, the deliverer will get it as a bonus. We can call it the silver box (instead of the gold box).

No way the crystal boxes will be back. Cause it will simply ruin the gameplay, people used to go after the crystal boxes during battles and forgot about the battle itself and the result was: "Hi let's all mult together" :ph34r:

Personally, I was not impressed with the winner of the Ricochet skills. What skills did he show? He was using DD and DA. I can one shot some tanks if I drug. So, what's so special about that? It didn't look like a real battle to me. He was running around one shotting most everyone and the only ones that fired upon him were 2 Firebirds. I'd like to see him do that in a real battle without using drugs, then I might be impressed. It looked too much like a set up, to me. 

 

Where were the Magnums? Where were the Twins shooting at the side of his tank to knock off his aim?

It was a 30 second highlight movie, of course you edit out the fails, people want an interesting 30 seconds. The only improvement I would have liked was a view of the battle results at the end, but thats minor.
