Should tanki add back crystal boxes in battles?

A few years ago tanki has officially removed crystals in battles. The cause of that is because the players would focus on taking the crystal boxes instead of focusing on battling. This has caused a lot of problems in the game and tank made an announcement about the crystals being removed. Players have gotten really angry of this, and some decided to either quit the game. In my opinion i think it is time to bring back crystals in battles. Hopefully players will focus on battling now, right? please show your support and share this with other players. I think its a pretty good idea to add the crystal boxes back in the game.

because I do not like to just wait a long time with crystal boxes back and goldboxes you could probably get your dream M2s or m3s or even m1s but you should work hard for it which means if crystal boxes come back to the game and gold drops and battle give out crystals once you've finished a battle then you could get up to 100k cry

Well, I'm 100% sure they will never bring them back. But I have an idea to make few tweaks to make crystal boxes less distracting. Here it is: 

How about adding crystals boxes to DM only? You know what that would mean? Buyer would focus on killing and not on collecting crystals, while non-buyers that have weak combo could go for crystals and everyone would be happy. Buyers would get kills to rank faster and non-buyer would earn crystals by collecting the crystal boxes. Am I right? I've posted 2 years ago and they deleted it. Hope this new CM will take a look at it. Like if you agree.

They might tho, i honestly think they should bring crystals back to get more players playing again. If they won't, tanki will just stay dead. Nobody is sure if they will bring it back

Yes, this would be an amazing idea :D, But im not the one to judge ;), But i like this. Hopefully CM will take a look at this.

They WON"T bring it back , Like daily missions u can only do it in pro battle . Many players left tanki bc daily missions and the balance they made in the past  ( Balance update) way more than a 3D crystal box .

The missions you can only do in NON PRO battles. Yes they left because of those reasons, but you never know IF they bring back the crystals :) It is not very likely they will keep it away from us forever..

Wrong, nothing has change, same condition = same results. The definition of madness is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. 

 

Battling and catching boxes at the same time is very not convenient, what are you playing? CTF or Box hunt? 

Saying that maybe they could bring back the "crystal box" mode to TDM and DM battles only to spice them up.
 
Otherwise crystal box is part of the dead TO 1.0, now you are playing a TO 2.0  which will became TO 3.0 with the incoming of Matchmaking.
Yes, Matchmaking is coming we are more than half way there, if you read this Review.

If crystal boxes are added back, they will be taken from the battle fund. In other words, you'll be getting a smaller amount of crystals at the end of a battle. Back when crystal boxes were removed, they got added to the battle fund instead.

Crystal boxes are a good way for players to earn some crystals when they can't finish the battle (for which ever reason), or when the enemy team is far stronger than them. However, crystal boxes are also a huge distraction and encourage many players to sabotage the battle a little or a lot by chasing crystals instead of opponents. Because of that, I personally don't think they should be added back.

From a sentimental point of view, I'd say yes.

But like Cooper said, they cause distraction and more or less sabotage; which is why we don't see them anymore.

That is, íf the original situation could be discribed as 'balanced'

 

Personally I wouldn't mind if they brought them back. 90% of the battles are doomed from the start because of the drugs and overdrives.

I used to care for the team but now I just sit, camp and wait which team starts to drug first to decide whether I should leave the match or keep camping. Having a few boxes falling around here and there wouldn't do much harm, atleast not outside NS battles.

It is much easiar to earn crystals now anyway. What are measly 10 cry boxes going to do? 

Back when they use to drop the fund was slow and the crystal boxes were taken by mults with mammoth.

If you actually play the game you can easially gain cry. On my alt I get 300-500 + cry without drugging each battle

Since there's no such thing as sabotage in DM matches, that would be an option indeed, but I don't think it will improve gameplay in any way.

I would only like crystal boxes back because it would bring me a feeling of nostalgia. Crystal boxes does not even need to be added back because they are added straight into the battle fund so your job is to get as many points in order to gain crystals in battles. So I am against crystal boxes being added back to the game.

Gold boxes are extremely rare and don't really serve as enough of a distraction to warrant being removed since many players enjoy them so much.

Crystal boxes were removed because we caught too many of them. We have a much harder time catching gold boxes because we all have to compete for it. :ph34r:

On the other hand, goldboxes might get you a victory if you sneak trough and manage to get the flag because half of the enemy team, if not more; will go for the goldbox. Might be even more important in NS battles where it's hard to get trough enemy defense.
