Should tanki add back crystal boxes in battles?

I think you guys don't know but the amount of crystal box used to drop in the battle are now added in the battle fund so no need to add them back. 

Ofcourse I do. Well let's remove goldbox and also add that in the battlefund, even more crystals!

I agree that no one is required to learn how to play well. You for instance are determined to not play well. That is allowed. I agree that it is allowed. It is allowed that you choose to play poorly but in doing so you hurt all the other players on your CTF, TDM, CP, or AS teams. They have to carry the load you refuse to help lift.

 

The fact that playing poorly is allowed does not mean you do not play poorly. You do. But you are under no obligation to learn how to play better. You are entirely free to live in your world of denial. But you fool only yourself.

Shooting at enemy tanks is compulsory otherwise it is a sabotaging which results in a ban. Not using overdrive does not lead to a ban so your statement is invalid. Secondly, I am not hurting anyone as I am not sabotaging the battle. I am only focusing on play by myself without teaming up with my team mates. Basically, I play like Rambo.

An isida-wasp can cap 10 flags, never fire a shot and help win the battle.

Or the isida-wasp can join a TDM, keep many mates alive long past their due-date and not damage one enemy.

 

I am not ignoring it and it is optional to use drugs in battle, therefore this point is invalid. Second, playing Rambo mode doesn't hurt the team as there are other team mates who can team up with each other so that is another point that is invalid. It is optional to use overdrive and it doesn't mean if you do not use it then your team will lose so that is another invalid point. I am not ignoring you but your just arrogant to the fact that it is compulsory to use overdrives and drugs in battles even though it is optional. I rest my case. K.B.7

OverDrive on the other other hand becomes available within the battle for free and costs you absolutely nothing to use.

Go play DM where there's no team-mates you can help disadvantage.

I didn't misunderstand what you said - that's what you typed.

 

Stick to DM since you don't seem to understand team play... "I play for myself in battles regardless of the outcome."

I remember the blue boxes. They had 10 crystals, at first. I don't remember at what ranks this happened, but the boxes fell one at a time in all the drop zones. Then as you ranked up, more dropped in the drop zones. I don't know at what rank they started dropping 5 at a time in each drop zone. I was a low ranker occasionally joining Marshal (the highest rank) battles just to get my tracks on those 50 crystals in each drop zone. Of course, I was out there helping my teammates by ambush hiding. I wasn't exactly a mult farming crystals. I could make at least 200 + crystals in one battle. Use them to buy supplies, saving my battle earned crystals for the next tank/turret upgrade (no MU's then). 

 

The downfall were the lower ranking Mammoth Crystal Farmers sitting in the drop zones using supplies to last as long as they could. I single out "lower rankers" because in the Marshal battles, they didn't seem to care about the crystal drops. The crystals just sat there and disappeared, but in the lower rank battles, they never went to waste. 

 

But Crystal Farmers never die and new ones will come. So, with the way Tanki is now, NO I would not want them back. However, I wouldn't be opposed to the battle fund being distributed more fairly to give the losing team more incentive to stay. Less than 100 crystals won't buy one RK used in battle. Many times I have seen the top scorer on the losing team get less than 100 crystals, usually around 94.

When I first started playing Tanki, late 2009, the losing team got Zero crystals. Adding crystals for the losing team was an update. Players were excited about the update until they realized it was just a small pittance to keep us quiet.  

 

I'm all too familiar with abusers. As @Imok-Urok called them, Crystal Farmers. 

 

Yes, the crystal boxes were added to the battle fund, I know that. There was another update that made the crystal boxes worth 100 crystals, but they were not as numerous as the 10 crystal boxes and only one fell in the drop zone. With that in mind, the top scorer on the losing team may not get even that much, now.

As has been said, this is extremely unlikely, and in my opinion that is a good thing.

 

I do support a better allocation of funds to the losing teams. I played a CP match today, final score was 56-55. The winning team got almost double the crystals per score point for a single match point.

 

I'm not sure what the current system is. Perhaps there is a system in place that gives the losing team in a ctf 10-9 match more of the fund than a 10-0 match. But if there isn't, there really should be. I've seen a lot of good teams get less crystals total than the top three on the winning, and that seems a little unbalanced to me.

 

But no. The solution to this is not crystal boxes. There are enough mults collecting supply boxes they won't use and just driving around as is. Putting those cystals into the fund encourages playing the objective and obtaining score, which are both difficult to do without helping your team. Ergo larger funds support teamwork, generally.

I couldn't agree more with you.

Most of the time, drugging dictators take the golds, which makes it unfair for the non-drugging, shorter hull users.

Crystal boxes were removed because we caught too many of them. We have a much harder time catching gold boxes because we all have to compete for it. :ph34r:

How about it'll drop when all players have like +100 score  ( Yes its a silly idea maybe some people just wanna ruin others' game by being mult )

 

EDIT: what I mean by (it'll drop when all players have like +100 score ) is after everyone have more than 100 score gold will may be drop (doing it's math thing that they told us about how gold drops )
