After reading my title, you would probably conclude I’m a noob hacker. I’m not. I’m just a player that enjoys doing parkour on Rio in space. You may have heard about the new update which restricts cheaters from jump hacking. Tanki seriously needs to check their updates because I like magnum wasp parkour. Not the kind where you use it to get yourself from one small building to the next, but when you have several shots in the air and they land simultaneously. This makes you go really high and straight up like to the big building behind Rio’s red flag in CTF. I experimented and if you go diagonally, you don’t self. If you go 90 degrees, you self in less than two seconds. Imagine doing 3 times that and a lot higher. Thunder, ricochet, and hammer don’t have any problems, just magnum sadly. I don’t have any footage but when I do I’ll post it or something. I hope tanks sees this and considers magnum parkour and revises their update.

Uhhh.... Yea. If I don't I can't survive 3 magnum shots with the new repair, all 3 shots at once, with wasp m1. I won't get m2 since I can't go very high. To get to the very last building, you need four shots. So ya :P If that's the reason then..

They can't get permanently banned, the anti-cheat doesn't do that, it just makes them SD. To me permanently banned you need to be reported in the Game Violators or by a live battle mod. Both will see you weren't hacking.

There are trade-offs by adjusting the parameters for this kind of self-destructing. The current code makes space maps possible without too many fly hackers. I believe they had a real tough time figuring out what the best setting would be with the least amount of compromises.

 

You're talking about an extreme example here. Going straight up with a Magnum is pretty hard for the system to determine if you're doing fly hacks.

 

Perhaps they can fix this in the HTML 5 version. We're talking about a code that is built on Flash Player which is extremely outdated. HTML5 might give them some more headroom.

This was simply a compromise required by Tanki in order to stop a MUCH bigger problem. If it meant that a minority was minorly affected negatively while doing nothing wrong, so be it, as the hacker issue is far worse.

I only see jump hax0rs during gold or test server.

Test server.... I have seen a no reload magnum. He pushed me up into the kill zone!!

Also, I have sd'ed more than once when trying to catch gold. Idk if they fixed that, but it was a problem when I was last playing Tanki and a gold dropped

IMO, parkour should never have had anti-hack programs.
