You're playing CTF, trailblazing down some new, undiscovered path to the enemy flag. You see some poor mult on the enemy team, turret deeply buried into the floor, tracks wiggling in the air like they just don't care.

Do you kill them for the free xp? Or do you let them lose a kill and 5 xp?

Leaving them means they are delayed by the self destruct time. But if you save them the effort, they might later return the favour (and none of this "I'm too good, I never flip!" - we all know that's rubbish :P)

The 2nd question, I'm just curious about.

if it's someone i hate and want them to feel humiliated, then no. if i really need the exp to charge my overdrive asap(usually when I'm with friends or clan) then yes. otherwise it depends on my mood, i do whatever i thi nk of as always.

but if it's someone who just activated a drug... then of course i don't. i want him to feel the pain of wasting a drug.

as for teammates, if it's friends or clan then of course i help. if it's someone who helped me then also i help, otherwise... if they contribute a lot to the team i help, if not i usually don't. unless if they're at the other end of the map and I'm using shaft. it's very fun to unflip them from across the map.

I don't stop my tank to destroy a flipped tank. I just passes while shooting at it. If it has less HP it dies...

And if a teammate can be unfliped with 1 shot or just little push, I do. Otherwise I don't care.

Hold on... didn't you say the following in the 'Complaint Book' thread?

"i don't even use overdrive most of the time because i believe that people who can't win without overdrive don't deserve to win"

I only kill if I know for sure that they will take one hit (I play with Magnum) and that there are no better enemies around that I could use my shot on. Also I don't kill if we're not winning and every flipped player counts.

Obviously only applies to team battles. In normal DM I always shoot flipped tanks if I know I can kill them.

sometimes i use it, sometimes i don't. usually i don't, but when I'm playing with my friends or clan i use it to help them.

If the enemy is on their back, then usually I let them be, unless they are blocking a ramp I need to get up and they don't look like they will do me the favor and self-destruct. But if the enemy tank is on their side, then yes I will do the decent thing and kill them. They can turn the turret and kill me or my teammates or right themselves and go about their merry way.

If a teammate is on their back and there is a chance I can help them by sliding them up or down a ramp, then I will give it the ol' college try. If they are on their side and trying to right themselves, I'll try to get them in a better position to do so. If they are on their side with no recoil weapon and I don't have a weapon with power, such as Firebird, then I'll try to push them as if they were on their back.

But then, sometimes it depends on what is happening in the immediate area. If helping a teammate means we both may get killed, then I'll save my own neck.

If I'm on my back, I will self-destruct. If I'm on my side and there are teammates close by, I'll wait to see if any will help me. If they all pass me by I'll call them a few names through my monitor and self destruct.

If I have drugs/overdrive on and/or the enemy is low on health, sure I kill them (why refuse a free kill) but only if there's nothing happening close to me.

I'll try and help a flipped teammate if nothing is going on nearby, but if I see an enemy coming I'll use the flipped mate as bait (yeah it happens) and destroy said enemy.

If I'm doing kills for frosty weekend like today, I'd kill them. But otherwise I'd let them die slowly, especially if its some guy who makes me rage.
