Fire-Wasp VS Polygon CP

Recommended Posts

I recently had a discussion with my clan leader about how FW is against Tanki Game Rules and is bannable (I think I'm correct on this) for powerleveling. So what makes Poly CPs or Arena CPs better than FWs?

Fire + Hornet/Wasp is not bannable,Playing 1vs1 FW with your friend CTF or CP mode is bannable tho.It counts as powerlevelling.

Fire/Wasp, Poly CP and Arena CP are NOT powerlevling and are permitted in the rules. The devs just don't want to make FW official for reasons mentioned many times before.

so it also means xpbp 1vs1 is bannable too! BOOM!

I would disagree, since FWs are just 1-4 people blindly rushing to the center of the smallest map they could fine and flaming at any living object. XP-BP is a duel in which skillful maneuvers are pulled off, where each is trying to beat the other in a fight to the... erm. Explosion.

I don't think 1v1 FW is banable. It's fine if you simply play. It's only powerlevelling if one player lets the other kill them over and over (or capture flags/points) without resisting.

Same goes for XP/BP and any other custom format you come up with - as long as both players are actually fighting, there will be no bans.

Can you ask @Yele? I just wanted to clear the problem out...

And I would disagree about the "Fighting" in FW. As I said, you could practically put a brick on each your "forward" button and your "fire" button, and you'd still kill the other person 50% of the time. FW is mindlessly going into the center of the map and dying in less than three seconds.

That's why every power-levelling punishment requires a lengthy video as proof, because battle moderators need to be able to thoroughly analyse the situation before deciding whether or not the actions are PL.

OK, I just checked it with Yele.

Turns out that "power-levelling" has been gone from the rules for quite some time now. So it's impossible to get banned for it, no matter what you do. The only thing that's bannable is battles between accounts of the same player. So if you enter a game with two accounts and start killing your other account over and over, you may get banned. But if you get your friend into a battle and kill him over and over, you will not get banned. The worst thing that can happen is that the friend gets kicked from the battle for intentional inactivity.

So in a nutshell: normal FW battles are not banable under any circumstances. The only exception is if it is played with two or more accounts belonging to the same person.

Many times I've watched 1 vs 1 battle scores from the lobby and wished I was a fly on the wall. There will be two players at extreme opposite ends of the rank allowance. The higher rank will get an extremely low score (if any at all) while the lower rank will gets a very high score. I've seen CTF score 10-0, lower rank getting all the flags, higher rank getting no score at all. But to be fair, I have also seen the higher rank get 2 flags and the lower get 8.

DM is the same. Higher rank no kills or maybe 4 kills. The lower rank has a very high score and high kill count. I'm not talking about Magnum. This has been going on long before that.

I refuse to believe these battles are honest. I think the two players are actually one player with a PC and a laptop. If this isn't power leveling, I don't know what is. But there is no way to prove it, so it goes on and on. As far as Tanki is concerned, this is all fair play. So get out your PCs and laptops and start power leveling. Tanki won't stop it and no one can prove it.

Poly CP, Arena CP, Fire wasp, Island 999 minute battles, Hill 999 minute battles all fall in the same category. They are are just battles for mindless noobs who can't turn their turret.
