First of all, in the Video Makers section, a few of nice and qualitative youtubers are put into that poll, such as Graphics and a few others. But you certainly missed a couple of other qualitative youtubers, maybe because they're not that active on the forum, and I understand that.

I'd assume it's because of the swearing in his writing.

 

A few other great writers weren't mentioned, but it's probably because they didn't have a long history in the AWC. Like, I've seen Magenta around for a decent amount of time, but Toxiclaw was also quite good, yet didn't make it because of his late debut.

Who would you suggest?

 

I know asking this means that we'll miss others who may also deserve it, that is why I don't like this contest; few will be happy and many others will be disappointed. But the contest is here and at least we should try to make someone who deserves it win.

Everyone, thanks for pointing out missed nominees! We won't be able to add new options for voting, simply because there are already over 2.000 registered votes, and it would be unfair for all who submitted their only chance.

 

I wanted to clarify a few points:

 

- eSports. Vavilon did not upheld the standards we seek in the best team, especially lately, and at the same time International was held accountable for their mistakes and turned for the better. This is what we seek - not only skill, but desire to improve.

- Parkour. GTT was missed out, due to a plain human error. We wish them the best and to know, that we know and remember.

- Video Makers. We wanted to highlight the most active individuals on the Forum, and I agree that there are plenty other talented videomakers, including whole teams, but this time we simply had to cut the list to a certain number.

- Writers. Similar to videomakers, we have to limit the number of nominees, which created lengthy debates and the blind luck.

- Artists. Here we chose not only the most talented, but also not present in the Writers list ;)

- Player. Of course, I understand that being popular on YT can help you A LOT with votes, but remember - we seek a symbol of the community, not only the most popular player, but also the person who respects the community, rules and helps fellow tankers without chat bans. It's more than who has the most votes - it's who is the Best Player of Tanki Online.

 

Hope this answers some of the questions and I will try to answer more tomorrow.

 They should probably have >1000 posts, but that isn't a requirement.

I agree with what you said, except for this part. Post count in it self doesn't say all that much, but many players  that aren't active on the forum at all can be considered exemplary players.

 

 

Who would you suggest?

It's not easy to pick from so many tankers in this game, but it's something personal. What do you think defines the best player? Is it skills? Team spirit? Knowledge of the game? Willingness to help? It's something you can only decide for yourself.

Thing is, for best tanker, just about everyone will vote for a mod, a YouTuber, a friend, or themselves. So unless you are a mod or YouTuber, I wish you luck.

I will say firstly - the idea itself is great, and well done for thinking of it - execution is appalling unfortunately.

I feel quite insulted AK are not in this list, it's pretty disappointing that you view us this way. We first EN clan to win Silver in 2017 , we won TOF 2nd place and Domination Series II.  What on earth is this? AK always coming back, always training, always winning and representing English community well, spending hours on training and this is how you treat us in return!  

 

And if someone will say I got an eSPorts ban for 1 month, that's me, not AK as a clan.  

 

and St.Railgun just got banned forever from eSports, so if you choose Synergy despite him, then why not AK despite me? And both Knights leaders got banned for a month too.

 

Also, this list is quite clearly not the best "as in most skilled" or something, if you won't include banned players lol, if I was to be voted (and I wont 100%), but I have http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=362144&page=1 yet I wouldnt be allowed due to a ban o_O.  Seems legit. It's the nicest person awards, not best. And you will give clan award to the clan with most fans in EN community, which would be AK but is now HZD, even tho HZD aren't nearly the best clan in Tanki.
