The best player doesn't have to be an "eSports expert", but just an influential player (whether in a positive orientation or not) in my mind.

Although the word is called "player", its definition surely has been evolved , meaning as a user, a member of the community, and not just simply a gamer.

Something like that, yes. For me, Best Players aren't just those who are famous in certain Tanki circles - they should be role models, both in actions and their behaviour, they are the ones who spread positive influence through their involvement within the community. As Sergei already clarified more than once, no one with recent history of abuse and rule breaking would be picked so it really doesn't matter how well known you are nor what your K/D is - but what your work within the community brings.

its not just he was a u-tuber but he has a good reputation with tanki staff in general and if you get along with others and be  respectful .

 . just look at the top 10 video  when Cedric was here , he gave the top voted stuff.

this is an award for the specific clan or whoever that deserves it. it is not like the clan championship where u get rewarded crystals

The actual best player should win this award....nothing to do with role models and all that nonsense. What you guys are effectively saying is that the greatest legends that just go about their business kicking backside on a daily basis have no hope in hell of this award, because they're not a tuber or don't interact with the community, even if they don't have time, interaction skills or simply have a language barrier. In fact, if you don't have video making capability, forget it.

 

There should be a separate award for tubers and this award should be for those that go about their business quietly and support the game in their own way. TBH, you'd be better off having tiered best player awards where players can vote for someone around their rank as best player. A legend knows who the better legends are, you can't expect a lower rank to know that because there's little chance of them seeing legends in battles. In fact the only chance they've got of seeing a high ranker in battles is on....you guessed it....youtube.

 

Having said that, congrats to the winners and Happy New Year too.

I get your concept Ostrica, but I think that "the best footballer" is understood to be a contest between Messi and Ronaldo, even tho Ronaldo is clearly arrogant, and got Rooney sent off and cries like a kid a lot, nevertheless he is the best, or second best.  "Best" means skill, not community interaction.  I think "NamesAreForNoobs" suggestion of 2 categories would be cool.

 

I will add tho, that the most well known players will win either way, so a shortlist of best eSports players should have been taken, but given that no1 knows about eSports here, it's best to leave out best player overall

The thing is, it is the "Best Player of 2017" was chosen by voters and at the end of the day, it just showed which Youtuber had the most active/dedicated followers.

 

Although I'm not saying @Ghost_Animators doesn't set a good example (he does), the average player doesn't usually take into account whether the person they are voting for is "A good role model in both actions and behaviour".

Seriously though, I would much rather have (for the sake of these categories) a thousand people who vote for me than a hundred people who vote for me and lub me...

This is bit stupid... Every single of them is YT or part of some community team...

 

 

I only gives reward for best player for eSport clan players, They play hard core, they are best, Wealthy and Animator they only can (u know what is next words).

 

Artist of the year... hmm... you just made that for players which are in that creative league or however is name of it.

 

I only accept of this: 

eSports Clan of the Year (​They work hard they get what they deserve)

Parkour Club of the Year (They are gifted... I rlly like their job <3)

Writer of the Year​ (Working  hard to give our community  something interesting  and they deserve that)

 

Other are just something that they added to give some fake infos.... I could bet at 1000$ that there is some1 1000 times better than those "Artist", they have sometimes good artworks but they are just picture with added lines and stuff.

 

Ofcourse best players are YT ........... HAHAHAAHHA, SURE...
