The last 2 years there was assault mode which was super fun and DM in the New year map but this year there is only DM, plus you ruinned it with the trashy containers and the garbage of "Regular battles, Non-PRO"

You can't make the map yourself. You can either join one by pressing the Play button or by joining one that's already in the battle list.

I'm afraid I don't know why they decided to implement only a DM version of the map.

There will be a special siren for the black boxes (which have containers inside): 

I don't know if there will also be a special message accompanying the siren though.

It hasn't been made public yet what the gold box texture will look like, I guess we'll have to find out tomorrow. ;)

As an Isida player, I feel your pain.

Always a good idea to have two good turrets in your garage instead of relying on just one, but Isida is just as good in DM as any other map - just attack from behind.

It's not that bad.

 

What you also forget is that in DM everyone else will be concentrating on fighting everyone else, so you can creep up behind two opponents fighting each other and zap them with Isida before they realise they're dead.

DM is the best mode for Isida, IMO.

The only bad thing is that DM only holidays map. Before, it was only for Halloween. And we were used to have the new year map with Assault. Or even ctf and cp like 3 years ago in that racing map lol.

 

I guess the funds will not grow very fast in the map this year...

 

Still, a good celebration and good about missions.

The anti-cheat system has actually been improved since the last celebrations: Friends List, Cheater Reports changes

Since all normal missions will be replaced I think it unlikely that all of then will be gold missions as was during Halloween. Perhaps there will be some gold missions mixed amongst crystal and supply missions, we'll see.

I kinda liked having some easy daily missions - in case I'm not playing much on a particular day.

If we just get the harder holiday missions this might jeopardize the mission chain for casual gamers.
