With the intro of Tanki containers concept tanki keeps giving out rare paints and stuff to people that were only exclusive to certain people before. Now they are not rare anymore as many people have got them with the help of containers, still people continue to receive them.

 

The thing here is it's a good concept of having containers to get items but items that were special should retain it's value. So rather giving the old special paints to people now that were once exclusive and special on their own time they must be discontinued without giving them out anymore and introduce new unique paints/ items that will be given to players for this year that won't be available to buy from garage in future.

 

That way each paint will stay unique and not lose it's value of being rare, if Tanki decides to continue bringing back rare paints through containers then they can also bring back old stuff like quad protection modules that were only available to buy in those days. 

 

The main point here is stop bringing back old items and start creating new and exclusive items each year to make sure everything retains it's value and not upset the players who bought it only because they are exclusive spending their money or hard earned crystals!

I get that it's annoying if you own an old exclusive paint like Moonwalker and suddenly it's not that special anymore because anyone can get it, but I personally don't have a problem with Tanki trying to get as much revenue from paints as possible. As long as they monetise cosmetic items instead of P2W elements, I don't care how they do it.

I agree with both, I got Moonwalker from the event ''Farewell Moon Silence'' (Or something?) in 2014. And now new players are even able to get it. It's totally not special anymore, but yea everyone have a right to deserve it right?

 

I got the paint '' Traceur'' and that paint isn't available in the containers. Sooo still special right? :)

 

(Can someone tell me more about the Traceur paint? Like, when was it available? I saw Traceur on Tanki Online Wiki, and it was something with parkour. (lol it even says parkour is easier with the paint equipped)

(Wanted to feel like forum mod, which i could've been accepted in but apparently I'm one year off age limit)

 

Paints are cosmetic, although it may be slightly annoying that someone now easily has your paint (like I saw so few Flow paints with mine that I got on the actual availability time), now I see possible 30% more. I'm not entirely sure how they got it, chances are in the container.

Chances that you get legendary paint is very low. I made some calculations, it is 1 in 4000.

 

"Tanki needs money" says Cedric. As i told, chances for premium paint is low, you can get it only with buying containers only, very hard to catch a gold and get animated paint.

 

I am going to sound like a mod: Tanki is not going to bring back old feautures (even if personally i like the idea XD)

 

It is good idea to add new stuff. Also, i know devs dont have much time to do so.

Well, most of legedary paints were available for 2-3 days. Every "buyer" could get them (P2W situation). Now, these containers gives F2P players chance to get something "exclusive". But, arent more special paints like: Sky, MOP paints, Gladiator, Acid... 

Let's say spectrum paint. In every battle there are 2 players with it. But in not all battles you see paints above.

What's more precious, Sky paint or Flow paint?

I agree that rare paints should be removed from containers, but please keep the garage paints in containers as random paints to be given out to players.

It's too late now. Moonwalker, Red Suit, Eternity mean nothing now.

i just don't get it, you bought a LOT of containers the day they arrived to Tanki, you got all the legenday paints for yourself (including Eternity) and now since you have all what you want, you ask Tanki to remove them again from the containers ?

it's not an argument, it's just a discussion.

 

and you know i'm not talking just about Moonwalker, i'm talking about why should Tanki STOP selling paints on a specific period of times, and why it's clearly a bad idea since the beginning (why put such a huge effort to design Eternity & Moonwalker & Red Suit so only a few players could get them ?)

 

instead they should design paints and sell them cheap for pecific period of time, then make the price X10 higher, if you got Moonwalker for 3000 crystals only, you will be happy that you won't have to pay 300 000 crystals for it, that price itself would make it rare to see in battles, but if a new player (say 5 years from now) desperately want that paint, then he will invest his crystals into it, probably will buy crystals, a win/win situation for Tanki & for us.  :)
