Every company has finite resources so it has to prioritize which jobs it undertakes. How well in Tanki doing?

Players have been asking for many improvements to the existing game such as:

* Re-balance the over-powered and under-powered hulls and turrets.

* Fix long-existing bugs.

* Complete the alterations system for turrets without them.

* Develop a better rewards system to lessen the incentive to leave battles early.

* Your pet peeve

Instead we have been given a new mode (ASL) and are told another one (Rugby) will soon arrive. Unlike matchmaking and the new Overdrives, these new mods came totally out of the blue w/o prior hints.

I do not think any player is unhappy to see new modes. BUT ... these new modes do not come free, They come at the cost of development hours spent on them instead of fixing existing problems. Is this smart strategy? I sthis the priorities you want to see?

Let's find out that the EN Forum community thinks.

I don't see the point of adding new stuff when other things need fixing.

I think the battle fund situation should be #1 priority, it limits my play time. Since losing teams don't earn as much as the winning team, I'm ''forced'' to join a winning team (to earn as much as possible, you know the importance of earning crystals), but many times there's no room (in winning teams), so I have no battles to play.

I've always wondered about this. I strongly believe that TO thinks that they can attract to audiences by constantly pumping out new content, however, I think the game was fine the way it was a few years ago and would've benefited much more with improvements. New content is driving players away because gameplay is becoming very different.

I think surprises are a nice thing to get every now and then, especially since we've been waiting for the same thing(s) for basically a year now (MM, HTML5, new overdrives). So having unexpected updates like that is kinda refreshing.

Although I admit it's a weird strategy and I'd rather get some solutions to current game problems that everyone is asking for (like a "chat wheel" communication feature to solve the language barrier), instead of there random unexpected features that sometimes cause even more problems.

HTML5 and MM first, then release the Assault and Rugby spawn libraries for Alterniva Editor. (and a new Tanks Testing Tool also)

Developers have stange logic, I have no idea and have given up understanding what their goal is. As long as the game stays fun for me I'm happy.

Agreed. I have no clue why they release updates which are flawed, then ignore them and proceed to make a new flawed update.

Perhaps it's all a plan for something, I mean they said the upcoming year will be the best one Tanki sees, so I guess they are trying to converge these all at one point in the future? Might become unsustainable if many player's start complaining. I don't know, as long as the game is alive and fun, I'm looking forward to logging in again tomorrow.

However, for a game this old, I strongly lean towards the point that the developers should fix the existing problems first.

(EDIT: Just to clarify the current lag issues some people have, unless Tanki holds additional servers throughout the world - which is highly unlikely, people far away from the servers will suffer lag issues. These kind of problems are imminent and unavoidable. The servers are in the Netherlands.)

A normal planning to a project would be something like this:

Plan

Do

Check

Improve

Only when you have it perfect should you do new things. The TO devs made the mistake here and that's how they lost players. Yet if they continued with the same stuff too long, they would loose players too. In my opinion, they added new stuff too quickly. They should concentrate a few months more on fixing stuff before going on to they new stuff.

tanki must improve the clan system as top priority. lots of people want to join my clan, tanki should increase the space limit of clans to 1000.

Would you stop trolling around pls, you and that "Re-Old railgun" are becoming very annoying.

Very few people really like your clan, you know. And you  talk about all the golds you drop and such, spend some of that $$$$$$$ on more clan licenses.

Clan System needs finishing. There were so many promises (in-game bonuses, more clan slots etc) that came along with the big price tag attached to an in-game clan.

But nothing has come of these promises. The Developers need to get their act together and give players what they've paid for.

How long before the HTML5 update gets released into the game?

It's currently under closed testing, with the possibility of release in the next couple of months (as said in the Development Plans VLOG).
