December 28th Update: Assault Mode, Containers

Curious as to why there seems to be so much indecision about the x3 mission chain bonuses. If there was ever one feature of the game that everyone likes, this is it.

Most MMO games have containers, crates, etc.. and they are all obtainable without paying real money. My idea is that slightly different versions of the current container (such as ones that do not give animated/removed paints) should be obtainable through daily missions, gold boxes or just plain chance.

Also, I have some ideas:

 

- Changing the "Gold box will be dropped soon" to "Black box will be dropped soon" when the Container is going to drop.  :ph34r:

- Adding Containers to missions, but the chances of getting them will be a little lower than getting gold rewards.  ^_^

- Changing the Container Drop Zone to a Black Square and a Blue Box inside. Just like the Gold box Drop Zone, it has a White Square with a Yellow Diamond inside.  :rolleyes:

Assault Mode change sounds strange, but will have to try it out in battles. Lately it seems like Blue team defenders have the advantage in just about any map save for Polygon. All they have to do is camp at the Blue point. This change seems to attempt to address that by forcing Blue team to be more active. The trouble is Nives just compared it to TDM, which might be the kiss of death for this format.

That the selling of containers is scratch-lottery-type gambling.

 

That we don't even know the algorithm of giving containers nor the reward chances,

 

That the 3x rewards is unfair for casual players and buyers, unless you're a buyer that also do mission chains....

SMH I really don't get this containers thing. Unless you have Dictator you've got almost no chance of catching one.

Haven't caught a single Gold/Black box... Well, how am I supposed to when I have many issues like FPS lag, bad luck and bad hull for catching one. Well, ASL must be re-worked, I agree.

Increased rewards for completing daily mission chains for now will stay in the game. We will inform about any changes to the rewards in a separate announcement at a later date.
