Pro vs Noob

 Share

Recommended Posts

Imagine the following scenario:

-A pro railgun/hornet M0 player is facing off a noob railgun/hornet M4 player.

-The pro plays like a veteran and the noob plays like a beginner.

-There is no protection module used.

-The map is Zone.

WHO WILL WIN???

Discuss who will win the battle.

Keep in mind there are no supplies.

Current Number of Players Rooting for the:

  • Pro (4)
  • Noob (2)

How many times have you been killed by a guy who can't turn his turret? Probably more than once.

Noob wins.

Well that's cause you're noober than that guy... Knowing how to turn your turret doesn't mean you're any less noober than those who don't.

How many times have i killed people with m4s and drugs? Many many many

Actually, there are players who can't turn their turret and are expert druggers.

(I have seen many players using Twins that do this)

Not really. This has happened many times to me: there is some Rico Viking drugger who doesn't know how to turn his turret. I usually use Smoky Viking. So I will circle him, try to wedge under his tank, throw off his by shooting the edge of his hull. Sure, I survive for longer than I would if I just rushed him head on, like guys who don't turn their turrets, but it doesn't matter, because he only needs to get 4-5 shots off on me, while I need like 7 with a longer reload. Tanki auto-aim makes it easy for him too, on top of that.

Railgun is one of the hardest guns to use because of the 1 second delay between clicking and actually shooting. The noob can not turn the turret so he will stay in the same place and rotate the hull after getting the first shot. The pro will peek from behind the wall and hide back before the noob Railgun charges. The 1 second delay would help the pro and save him from the noob! Pro would also win Shaft, Ricochet, Striker, Vulcan, Magnum and Freeze battle. Noob would win the others.

Since M4 rail will one-shot the M0, and it takes (on average) 4 shots for M0 Rail to kill M4 wasp...

I'd say 50/50 either wins.

A map like zone gives "pro" major advantage as there can be no ambushes, so maneuvering plays a huge part.

But the "noob" only needs to hit once.

4 lives vs 1 life.

On a larger map with more cover and possible ambushes it will tilt strongly in favor of the noob.

You don't need to turn your turret in order to hit someone unaware of your shot.
