Make sure that the e-mail you're checking is the same email you're linked your Tanki account.

How to view if my email has been linked to my acount?

A very simple method to find out which of these e-mail addresses is linked to your account is to click on 'change your password' and check in which of the e-mails you received the link to changing your password. This of course only works if you didn't accidentally forgot one e-mail address completely (and that is the one that happens to be linked to your account).
