Slight change to turret / weapon balance

I know that the removal of updates isnt accepted as you are forced to adapt to the developers' "vision" of the game whether you like it or not, which is why updates that have been cotnested even by the community still remain inside the game, and moderators on the developers' payroll try their best to keep such protest secluded hance why the suggestion of removal of updates is prohibited.  :)

 

Again if these could be at least communicated to the devs instead of just being closed as a common practice by the mods, would be appreciated.

 

Anyway why is viking faster than Hunter ? what is the point of using it and it still has less health. When it should have more speed less health (hunter)

 

Firebird has been nerfed too much and so has freeze, visibly in battle. Takes a full charge to kill oponents even with alteration, and freeze is very inferior compared to other guns hard to freeze opponents, etc

 

Yet the game has become supply based, for money of course, just hoping these could get a slight buff to make things more even, as it appears Alterations have become mandatory for optimum gameplay, which shouldnt be the case, even if they want to deliberately fuel you to pay.

The rule exists because an idea that's asking to revert an update has no value. This section exists so that players can share their original and creative ideas for features they would like to see in the game. Asking for an update to be reverted is not original or creative.

(Assuming by previous actions and mod / dev ignorance of opinion of bad updates that are implemented and refuted by the community) do the developers even check that section? Its probably unlikely that it will even be seen yet considered by the developers / mods in such secluded section.

 

Asking for a bad / valueless update to be negated does have value if is to be replaced with something better / meaningful or if there is a good reason for such an update to be replaced / removed if it is to the unfair disadvantage to the players or the developers.

 

 

Which is why I am requesting that this be placed under review rather than jsut closed because it is something you appear to disagree with. An idea / suggestion has to receive your approval before developers may even notice it ?

Suggestions are passed on the devs by the mods. That's the entire point of the I&S section. Not all suggestions can be implemented, and doing so takes longer than you might expect. Alterations for example took over a year to go from idea to release. Furthermore, certain ideas are not accepted simply because the devs have already considered them (price changes, for example). 

 

Firebird and Freeze are way better currently than they were prior to the 2016 re-balance.

Firebird and Freeze are way better currently than they were prior to the 2016 re-balance.

 

Alterations themselves were a waste of time as with the Firebird alt that was how firebird was before even so they nerfed it so alteration is still weaker ( FULL charge to kill medium tank) Twins alt the stable plasma they added self dmg then added a 50k alteration to remove it (Waste of time for more revenue)

 

Ideas would only really be considered if they were of obvious benefit to the players and not a significant or bad footprint / disadvantage to the developers in terms of significant loss of revenue as long as they stay online for longer (why daily missions are now done in non pro battles to waste more time)

 

Yeah bro you only got fire m2 and freeze m0, and maybe not even alteration unless i am mistaken, which means you wouldnt be in the appropriate position to provide a full analysis of the weapons balance, but even with MU and alteration it is not powerful enough, freeze mechanism has been modified significantly to the point where it just feels different from the strategies adapted before,

I am asking for this to be placed under review so it can be considered as the devs wont be able to read every page of the offical topic to discuss game balance especially if those opinions opose their own views / ideas for the game to make more revenue.

I also didn't include turret rotation speed because it doesn't matter and I couldn't be bothered to write that out (all you need to know is that new Firebird has better rotation speed but slower turret acceleration).

Perhaps they feel weak to you because you are using M2 when you should have M3.

Actually, the Firebird has been nerfed. If you check closely, the difference between M0 and M4 for the old firebird's M4 is 200% better than it's M0. It is now only 100% better. The devs reduced the difference between M0 and M4, in effect buffing every non-M4 turret/hull.

I agree. It was far too OP then.

I agree with this idea +1. I want the good old times back when we could one shot a hornet m3 with a m0 shaft :ph34r:

Actually, the Firebird has been nerfed. If you check closely, the difference between M0 and M4 for the old firebird's M4 is 200% better than it's M0. It is now only 100% better. The devs reduced the difference between M0 and M4, in effect buffing every non-M4 turret/hull.

First of all I don't see where you are getting 100% from.

Second of all, even though the difference between M4 and other modifications has been reduced, M4 is still more powerful than it used to be.

+200% = 3X
