TO isn't made for gaming, but for money making

They have to make money to survive. And no one makes a game this good just for fun _-_.

The issue of Pay to Win is just a hoax now.

Honestly speaking Daily missions are like the fine line of balance between P2W and F2W, and thats whats keeping Tanki alive.

But the question is why is Tanki just living for survival, why don't the developers for once pay attention to why are so many players having issues with the game?

Expanding player base is a good step to raise funds, but I wish to see those funds be used in proper place.

If I were to chose between a Day without no lags, no issues, no errors ,smooth gameplay or a day of Old Tanki I would definitely chose the former, because yea, the game needed change from its orthodox gameplay, so why should anyone complain.

But honestly look at the client, was it ever updated, was there any gameplay update, these are the real issues.

For how long would we keep on getting shot magically through the wall, or that isida beam that kills around the corner.

For how long would pressing shift make the fps skyrocket, I want these issues to be taken more seriously that new mode/new hulls/ War 2.0/ or any secret projects.

A lot of that has to do with server latency; or ping.

This is the result of the distance to the server.. now I don't know where you live but the further you are from the server, the longer it takes for a cluster of information to go from your PC to the server back here in Amsterdam.

The client to me, is the most reliable way to use the game. The only downside is that I cannot use mouse controls trough scope mode with Shaft. But server lag is not really an issue for me, not anymore atleast. It used to be absolutely terrible a year  ago with mouse controls enabled. Constantly getting disconnected from first minute of joining a match. After many months, all the sudden it magically stopped. This bug fix solved all my issues and the game had been pretty stable since they did it.

The worst updates so far; from my perspective, are Magnum, missions, overdrives and supplies. Those 4 things kill map variety and cause blowouts in all game modes. We had much more map variety a few years back and I blame overdrives for the increase in blowout battles lately.

Honestly I've been trying to see what causes the game-play crap and it is Overdrive indeed. It was the worst update ever, why could not that stay as an event instead? Something to look forward too? It was implemented last year in May for May Holiday and it was fun but since it is permanent now, it is boring and ruined the whole game-play. You waste at least a minute on a single player trying to destroy your opponent and all of the sudden, he activates the Overdrive and yet again you either get killed or waste your time again trying to take the opponent down. Worst case scenario, doing splash-damage with thunder/magnum to a group of people who are almost one shot away from getting killed and somebody activates Overdrive, you end up giving a big sigh because you have to start all over again because of some dumb overdrive mode.

Ahhhh so familiar indeed, from the moment the blue light shows up..

They bring all those supplies in your base and start spawn killing the hell out of your team aswell.

Hulls became pretty fast. For 80% of the players, a medium hull would be do well for flag capturing.

A group of Vikings on overdrive will reach your base within no time.

It now comes down to gathering your team up around someone who has a star above their tank and to storm the enemy base.

All these consumables consumables consusmmables conshsdumables consmasdasgshagfdh..

2013 Daily average players online at a time: ~150k

2018 Daily average players online at a time: ~20k

3 years of complaints about the f2p and the game's updates, nothing happened, they do what they got to do, they don't listen to us, AND THEY WOULD NEVER..

Sorry if this offends developers..

This is about World of Tanks. But it applies very well to Tanki Online too. Less players does not mean the game is dying. People have been saying the game is dead/dying for years. It is true, Tanki's peak has come and gone. But here we still are.

I don't know where you got your numbers but they are not reflecting the reality.

It's difficult to assess at a time the number of player. Generally we use the number of players at peak time.

The value you gave for 2013 is really above the all time official max player observed which is 138k http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=321061&p=3116227. This was one time for a huge event. The average would be lower than 100k.

The current value (you will need flash to see the graph) at peak time is above 25k - the average would be lower than 10k.

The developers are transitioning the game to MM, and they have announced and started this 18 months ago. They have and are following the plan and the MM is coming soon.

TO is still here but if the product has peaked the business decision has to be - at some point - to stop investing in it in terms of support vcosts.  Programers, administrators, etc.  That's probably why bugs and imba, mlances have gone unaddressed for over ayear now.  More to do than programmers emplyed to do the work.

Not really. I'd argue that more effort is being put into the game now than in previous years.

It's impossible to do another rebalance for whatever reason. It would destroy the economy and turn into a massive inconvenience for everyone.

Well, keep all of the updates and just change the way how shaft and striker works? I mean that laser lights .-. it ruined those turrets. And probably add back the past features of pro pass and re add that score multiplier pass? It's the solution for most of the whining done here by kids.

I know these are long forgotten but I would love it if it would be added. Plus I know I am selfish, don't take my post seriously, but actually think about it tho

And yes, now this game is mostly about how much you spend. :-) Cause Officers basicly can get full M3 set already :-) And in one match I got raped by M2 viking and freezer set. They were M3s, cause my M2 rail had to make 4 shots to take down one M2 viking. :-)

Just thing, russian devs have money in their head too much

What will?

getting some juicy $100 amazon gift card, getting M3 freeze at WO2, and completely steamroll normal people, i think tanki wants you to do that anyways

Why is this topic still even up? .-. If you don't like it...play TX....it is more non-buyer friendly.....

but its also risky, due to no such thing as modifications, you can literally buy a bunch of blue prints for real money, upgrade your modules to like 10, and destroy everyone in your way since their modules are only on 3, simply, its like having M4's at staff sergeant whilst you drug and crush M0s
