Holiday Missions, Weekly Rewards Changes

The containers should NOT give paints. Tiger is 500,000 worth in crystals and the player above said they got that very paint from a container. This means players won't have to buy kits to get paints, thus Tanki loses revenue, which they're going to be losing a LOT of it. While it's a cool idea, containers never should have even been made. Remove paints from them, then there you go. A nice handful of drugs or crystals is very much more feasible, or as a VERY VERY VERY rare reward, like finding the hay in the needle stack. Who wants to go into a pile of needles, anyway? Yes, it was intentional I reversed that.

 

I think it's best containers be removed from the game, entirely.

If you don't want containers just don't do your missions or don't claim them  :angry: Majority of the players are very happy about this and I believe this is the best thing happened in Tanki after a long time  :rolleyes: I'm pretty sure Tanki admins & devs & owners are completely aware of what you said. They want to attract more players to the game & this is a very successful step in that progress  :rolleyes:

1st week chain rewards is now 2x without a single container. i don't know about 2nd and 3rd week, maybe 1 and 2 respectively.

 

That's what this system encourages, if you play a lot have many accounts, do only 1 mission a day with little ranking as possible, and transfer wealth as needed.

 

Personally I'll be saving for after Overdives... most likely Dictator kits. Dictator for 10xtupid golds/containers and supply Overdive.

 

 

 

It could be argued that updates like this help the game economy, or at least have minimal effect. It takes the burden of paint buying away from the non-buyers and low-paying buyers.....which then allows them to focus on getting better equipment, making them far more competitive.

 

This stronger free or low paying user base is then a far more difficult challenge for a buyer to overtake....so to retain their dominance over non-buyers they have to decide if they should buy more or simply play more, chances are they'll buy more. But updates like this give them an alternative option which is also beneficial to the game, so Tanki can't be accused of milking them as they do have a choice.

 

Also, arguing that this discourages buying and encourages multi-accounting is a moot point. Main reasons that buyers buy is because they want to dominate, don't have the patience to wait, or simply because they want to support the game they love...it's highly unlikely they'd even care about the multi-account, minimal-play workaround, which has always been the efficient way to play Tanki waaay before this update....many buyers and free2players can't be bothered with efficiency, they just want to play the game as often as they can with one or maybe two accounts.

 

Does this discourage buyers from buying paint???....doubt it, why wait in the hope of getting the paint you want from a weekly container, when you can instantly get it from the shop(or Garage) instead if you have the cash.

 

But that is all insignificant compared to the greatest benefit of this update. Dishing out tons of schmexy paints to the low rank, quite simply, makes the game look better for newbies to the game.

Before, you'd join the game and all you were up against was boring looking M0's or M1's with cheapo tacky looking paint jobs.

Now, a noob joins the game and is more likely to see nice looking paints to aspire to get. A noob to the game will decide pretty early on if this game is for them or not, and stuff like this is more of an incentive to stay.

 

Not to mention what impression a giveaway like leaves of Tanki, just a very generous gesture from Tanki.

ok ok , i say it , 

 

this is the first update i like from the 2 years ( 2016/10 re-balance )

 

good jop Sergei on first place , then the players who give there feedback to keep the containers in the missions , and in the 3th place for the mods who helped seregi to handle all the feedbacks from the whole forum.

 

 

Im i.follow this is my low testing acc,

but still say R.I.P old legendary paints :) .

lol why my mission become easier but reward still same like earn 1.5k crys before update i done 500crys on monday, tuesday i didnt complete mission today open then there write completed and i can get 8k


my mission chain also remains unchanged lol yesterday i didnt complete any mission and today still same day 2 how ?

So does this mean the weekly rewards have been gone to x2 of their original values despite you mentioning they won't be reduced ??

 

They remain increased compared to x1 and containers are directly contributing to the overall number of crystals and supplies.

 

That is the official statement.

This was a holiday mission with increased rewards. After today's server update, all the mission objectives got reduced to their normal size again, but the rewards and your progress didn't get lost. Any new missions from now on will have the normal reward instead of the holiday reward.

Why you have reduced battle funds without any announcement?

I don't think the funds has changed but I might be wrong...In that screen you posted earlier there were lower ranks in that battle, which always lowers the fund by a lot cos I think u get less crystals for rekting those guys.

 

Just did a DM battle and got 1089 crystals for 64 kills...which looks about right

Forget that battle, after that won many battles and getting rewards like i.e 226 crys for 226 exp in winning team on 2nd spot, it wasn't like this before.

I don't understand reward system of ASL mode some time it is 2x then your exp sometime hardly more then exp (in winning team)

Wait I am posting CP mode rewards too, They reduced battle funds because they gave you containers. Logic ;)
