Dead tanks detonate mines

This idea is based completely off of one started by Skills.N.Girls (I think that's her name; also, no offense, but I'm assuming your gender). One of her ideas was that dead tanks could blow up mines upon touching it. 

 

Not only do I think this would be very cool, but also I think that this balances the game effectively, too.

 

Think about this for a second. Have you ever played in those CTF games where it is impossible to assault the enemy base because they put 1000 mines around their flag and the enemy (or enemies) who planted them are hiding in the corner? This makes the game very slow and unenjoyable. But now, with this brilliant idea, there is a way around it where a teammate could sacrifice him/herself to detonate as many enemy mines as possible so there is a way to capture the enemy flag. 

 

This would also add an epic visual effect and a touch of realisticness into the game. 

 

This definitely needs to be a thing.

But with the corpse only existing for 1.5 seconds this will be kinda pointless, since it will rarely be possible to detonate more mines with the dead tank. I feel that if mines were to get a nerf, it should be something more interesting.

what he could have added is if they remain when a tank dies, the mines don't disappear but, as you said, their damage gets nerfed. Until they hit halfway and the tank dies again, they'll disappear

What do you mean by rarely? If you decide to go straight into the enemy base loaded with mines, you will first detonate about 2 before dying, and your corpse would still be moving forward due to the momentum caused by rushing forward and by the mines, causing you to detonate many more mines. Plus, let's say I jump off a ledge and I landed on 20 mines. Only 2 of those mines would explode. Now, with this idea, all 20 can explode.

If someone planted a lot of mines, sneak behind and kill him or use Magnum :P

If you decide to sneak behind the guy who planted all the mines, you basically would fall off the map. They are always in the corner near the flag  where no one could find them. They also place mines around themselves so they could be protected. Magnum is OP and works everytime but Magnum will *hopefully* be nerfed soon. I don't think we should all be forced to use magnum cuz it could legitametly do anything

Well, I just don't think it's likely that you will take out more mines with your corpse moving due to momentum.

He is saying that if you jump off a ledge, and then land on your the back tracks of your tank, you will only blow up 2-4 mines. But the tank's "corpse" will keep going and go flat. At which point, it could destroy more of the mines if the corpse could destroy them.

But how often does it actually happen? Like I said in my first post - this is pointless since it won't change much in terms of gameplay, but will probably take an unreasonably long time to develop and test.

Also Dev's removed Rust paint and reduceThe respawn of the tank. So, I can't use the dead tanks as shield anymore :(

Try Swamp, Dirty or Cedar.
