In July 2012 appeared the first view to a new mode, said to be an additional mode to CTF and TDM.

The best part of it is the points' unusual design when they firstly appeared in Test servers. Bright-gray cuboid pillar-like object while uncaptured would be captured by filling itself up from the ground to up with either blue or red color depending on the team. Technique of these stood still and nowadays appear same as 5~6 years ago.

So curious and want more? Here you go:

Previous Daily Facts (not PDF):

  • Activation of Overdrive near teammates gives them the same effect as to you, even through solid objects on the map.
  • Viking connected to Ricochet/Twins can hit and do damage to the enemy with a medium/heavy hull, even when the enemy is UNDER YOU!
  • Know @Godmode_ON? Think he only uses Mammoth with either Twins, Thunder or Vulcan?
Think he plays only DM? Was it all only a testing of Gold box supply before it officially came out for everyone?
  • Back in 2014-2015 Christmas holidays XT pieces of Railgun and Hornet for all modifications were added.
They had 50% boost over normal Railgun and Hornet, could be bought in a time limit of 12 days since their addition to the game and were removed after that. Six months later XT pieces of these were added back, but only of M3 versions, and were achievable only in special missions available for Generalissimos. 3 days later a contest was launched rewarding 300k crystals and full micro-upgrades for the first tanker to get both XT items. The winner became a german Tanki player . Pretty cool, huh?
  • If you activate Overdrive near control/flag/rugby point, you won't place a mine. Therefore - does this effect void the information that Overdrive activates all supplies?
  • Back in old days of Tanki were old community managers of course. Now though many of you surely remember Semyon Kirov, before him and his great effects on the whole EN community, community manager used to be Bruce Lunga. His Forum nickname used to be Bruce Lunga, but since he was interested in playing the actual game, he changed it to almighty01 (which later changed to @r_almighty010 due to account's inactivity). He might be famous for his RAP creation for Tanki Online.
  • Update 138/143 - Team kick by vote; was an update that appeared in April of 2013 and brought something

of an interesting feature which was later removed without a clear reason. Namely, it was a mechanism of voting players that violate Game Rules by pressing a downvote button displayed in the "Kick" column in the Battle statistics menu (which you see by holding Tab button). An individual could only vote players placed under them in the Battle statistics, if that player joined after him/her, if that player was in the battle for some time and if the individual was not banned in the chat and is not often kicked from battles. This feature was not applicable for battles of smaller spaces (in terms of "Max players" option), so this function was not available for 4v4 and below. Later, in July, Update 169 applied team vote feature which removes a player from the non-supply battles. It is also notable that this feature could kick a player instantly, without any notification, and was not same as a "/vote" mechanism, because "/vote" mechanism notifies a Battle Moderator who has a full-power of kicking and also banning a player from the game completely for a specified amount of time. This feature could be useful even today, ratherly back then improved than removed completely.

Do you feel lucky? I don't care.

copycat! This is my idea, I have been posting interesting daily facts on my clan post since last year, and I know you have seen my clan post cause you commented on it!

so if any one wants interesting daily facts you can go to my clan topic, we already have a lot of facts there, no need to make a whole new topic. http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=365673

I'd no idea about that, I am not a "copycat" (I didn't have any intention to read the whole crowded topic).

However, this one isn't about fruits, so calm down.

Railgun used to be called "The Fear Machine"

Firebird's flame was once blue

If an enemy is on top of a player using Magnum, with their Magnum aimed upwards where the end of the barrel goes all the way through the tank, the shot hits the underside of the tank above them, despite the end of the barrel being above the tank.

If you're using Isida on a player and another player crosses through the beam, the beam will go through the player as if they are not there and will still heal/damage the tank you began firing on.

Mines ignore physics. Place one on top of a thin wall and it won't be affected by gravity.

101 deaths and 0 kills = 0.00 k/d

An effective way to help out your team-mates in Silence and other tunnel based maps: A player inside the tunnel in the silence map receives overdrive even if someone has used it one level above you. This tactic is used by veteran clans to help teammates carrying the flag inside the tunnel. Works efficiently :)

I thought this was the "Interesting Daily Facts" section, not the "Joker's Convention"

Fun Fact: you can use fly hack to get goldboxes, just make sure you don't use it twice in the same battle or some hater may actually record you, as long you use it once per battle you will never be banned.  :)

I hope these were accurate

Fun fact; Striker's missiles can be outrun if you can get to a prop fast enough. They deal the same damage regardless of what mode they were fired from, so if you can make all but one or two miss then the salvo will have been wasted.

After a long researchement, we have concluded that the majority of our visitors are potatoes.

Facts aside, we have concluded that 60% (exluding my vote) of the voters definitely want to see previously posted facts.

Therefore IDF team will be having a server maintenance up to 2 hours to find a way to do that hard work posting all previous lies facts for you dear potatoes tankers to enjoy.

Interesting fact:

your shots deal Double Damage based not on whether you had the supply activated when you fired the shot, but based on whether you still have it activated at the time of impact. If you shoot with DD and die while the shot is in the air, it will deal normal damage. Similarly, if you shoot without DD and activate it just before the shot hits, it will deal double damage.
