Matchmaking similar to Tanki X will stop me playing the game. I like the fact I can chose the map and the best equipment for it. I also like the ability to chose what side I am on. On many occasions I have left a blowout on the winning side to see if I can help turn it around. And I know I'm not the only person to do this. 

 

Please leave the core of the game alone, there isn't much wrong with it as it stands. Tanki X feels like a fast paced first person shooter in story mode, great graphics, but not much in the way of thinking gameplay as far as I can see. Also a complicated and confusing method of upgrading turrets and hulls. TO has much more of a grown up feel, less immediate, slightly removed from the tank with less fuss made of equipment. Hull, turret, module, lets go play! Still lots of variation and still requires skill to manage but makes you do more with less. Not so good graphics but great gameplay. I play it for the game not how the game looks, Space invaders, for example, not much in the way of graphics but addictive gameplay. I played Tanki X for several hours and I found it a much better game when all the "extra" bits were turned off in the settings menu.

 

Hull overdrives? Do they replace the current overdrive? Are they going to make games impossible to play? Mammoth sat on a flag kills anything that touches it. Some maps are already hard enough just to get through the magnum fire, then run into a big fat tank you cant touch!

 

If anything I would suggest making the current overdrive harder to get and less effective and shorten the supply duration/ lengthen the cool down time. Perhaps supply active time could be linked to rank. Low rank, longer supply life the higher up the ranks you go the shorter life they get. It would stop me getting killed instantly by M3 freeze/isidia/firebird 12345 players anyway!

 

Please concentrate on polishing what you have, making it smoother, tweaking the graphics, or adding in some animations to the tanks/maps.

 

As it stands the battles do often end in a blowout but there must be a better way to even out the teams. Perhaps take a leaf out of the wargaming book and assign points to rank and equipment. Then only allow a certain amount of points into a match, balancing both experience and equipment.

It's actually the other way around, you have to think a lot more in Tanki X than Tanki Online. Hulls take more damage from the rear than the front, which makes light hulls quite important. Modules in TX are far more complex (and balanced) than supplies in TO. There is a large selection of abilities you can choose from to suit your playstyle. The first few battles you play in TX are against bots, maybe that's why things feel off.

I agree with the new plans, like rugby mode, and matchmaking system. But, if the matchmaking system goes in place, we don't know if we're on a good team (I'm just saying), and like Matt Black said, new overdrives are probably going to make the game impossible to play, like let's say you get 0 kills and 50 deaths just because of a stupid overdrive. ???!!!!!

I played it for several hours until I got fed up of the same 3 maps. Seems to me to play just like most of the other first person shooters out there. I've watched my son play Paladins/Overwatch/Fortnight/insert run and shoot game here, enough to have good idea how it plays. Great for the 10 year olds not much fun for the thinki tanki.

i have a question for tanki makers.

i have bought all xt and most m4

so when you XT  trade in skins than i lost m4, so i lost than crystals

are u going to give the crystals from m4 back?

Hi. Right now, we don't know how will developers sort this particular situation. Follow the news, they will definitely inform us closer to release of XT skins.

I just can't wait for the new overdrives and the matchmaking system and HTML5. There are my favourite. I am also glad that those annoying XTs are being replaced with skins.

 

I also wish for more game modes. One of the game modes I have suggested that would be very interesting is the "Elimination Mode" battle.

You folks forgot to mention about improvement for the clan system. The clan system should consist of the ability to earn more experience and crystals and give new abilities for players as well. There are many cool ideas that could be added into clans.

The developers didn't mention the clan system for their development plans for this year, hence they have not been mentioned in this article.

I am waiting for the new overdrives. You folks said that new overdrives would be added to each of the hulls. When will these overdrives be released?

Let's hope it is the last thing they do on this list.

 

They might have realized the impossibility of creating 7 overdrives each as useful and popular as the rest. Maybe this will just be another announced project that never happens. eg The way the turret alteration project just ended less than half-complete.
