Why does tanki allow m0 guns and hulls to be used in m2 + battles

LOL, in case you hadn't noticed.....it's the misuse of the friends list and invite system that the mult-using cowards rely on to dump their mult dogs in the enemy teams. It's an inevitable unwanted by-product of those two features.

 

Besides, no one should have to rely on getting reliable friends and clan-mates to play fair battles. We're here to play a simple Tank game and should be free to play it however we want as long as that's within the game rules. If someone doesn't want to interact with any community and prefers to play the game as a loner, then that's their call. They shouldn't have to suffer cheats because they can't be bothered with clans and friends.

 

And “you think the developers have to do everything for you?” comment made me laugh, what have they done exactly?...a vote system that's like a chocolate teapot, a kick system that failed almost immediately, a record and report system that most don't have the hardware, software or time for, and a future matchmaking plan that was a predominantly hated huge change to how we play the game.

 

Its common knowledge now that this game is super easy to cheat-to-win. It shouldn't be up to us to find solutions to this plague, or change how we play the game to avoid cheaters, but sadly that's the point its got to for many. Adapt to avoid cheats....or quit.

 

But yes, in the meantime you are right, adapt and play with reliable friends & clanners if you want dont want your team cheated in team battles....or play only DM, which is what I do.

What have the developers done excatly? They made a game we can play. This isn't a game for babies so what they have done is already enough.

The player in hand had many m2 and 2 m3, but chose to use m0 basically he was cheating, knew what he was doing and ignored any attemt to change. I can't prove it but i expect he had friends in the other team and was playing in a weak manner to assist them in winning ( sabotage)

The thing of it is there are many easier was to be a saboteur --- and the easy ways do more sabotage too. I do not think TO has a widespread problem of players pretending to play hard but not really doing so because they use low-grade equipment. Why would  huge number s of player want to do this? There are simpler ways to mult/sabotage.

 

 

I fight against generals with fully upgraded M0 Hunter and Viking because I hate Dictator, I can not buy M1 and I can not afford M2. I have to just keep using my poor equipment because I have not enough crystals to buy better equipment. I am basically trapped in M0 forever, maybe I need new account.

Your profile shows you've spent your resources on a lot of m1 stuff and paints.I bet you could get back to the Major-Colonel rank sooner than you expect. Just stick to your 1 most favorite turret, hull, and module. MU m0 1all 10 steps, turn it in for m1 at teh right rank. MU that to 10 as well. Turn that in for m2 at rank.  When you return to the "Major/Colonel area you can consider a 2nd turret or hull. Jusat do at least 1 mission / day and stick to hat facorite combo.

But I don't like to cheat in games, frankly I find the whole idea of cheating to make battles as easy as possible to win in order to advance in the game slightly quicker kind of pathetic and cringe-worthy.

 

I don't really care about your conversation with the guy that started this topic. I also don't judge the M0 isida in the picture, cos I don't see what they were doing for the rest of the battle, don't see their battle scores, and don't see when in the battle the guy changed to M0 Isida...might have been right at the end of battle for all I know. The problem is that players using their weaker equipment is seen as cheating, because it's a common way to mult battles. If you can pull your weight with your M0, then great!!...chances are you won't at your rank.

 

The developers have made a playable game, but they haven't done anything of use about cheats....You might not care about how cheating fools are ruining this game for loads of others, plenty of other people do, including me. I don't blame the devs, I blame the cheats.....although the devs could have done more to tackle the cheats.

Well....I won't take that advice and just keep playing DM instead, but I know for certain that loads are using these dirty tactics, including clans. Drugging is a seperate issue, all I say on that is I have never bought a single supply with money. And haven't bought any with crystals for over a year. But I suppose I have the advantage of being this rank with the bonuses that come with it....so I don't know if lower ranks need to buy or not.

Your solution may be ok for you, I'm not sure, but cheating is not in my nature. Trying to persuade others to cheat is also not something I would encourage. What kind of example does that set for others reading.

Edit : Theres seems to be two schools of thought on this matter developing, Those, like me, who wish to eradicate cheats and sabotage, and those who encourage the use of anything goes maybe like the new discord server there should be servers for players who don't want cheats, and servers for those who don't care so the battle mods wouldn't even have to police them. Then you can play all the m0 equipped battles vs legends you like

 

I'm not sure if your aware but the louder you keep shouting that to use m0 like this is ok, the more you keep making my case for me

If that player has a better turret in their garage and doesn't change to it when you ask them to, then it's against the rules and you can report them for it. But if that's the best he has, nothing can be done about that unfortunately. That's just how equipment progression was designed in this game.

Here's a tank that makes the point perfectly, now according to what maf says if they don't have other equipment then its not a rule break. This is why it needs to be changed his profile only 1 m1 (shaft)rest m0 but with 1.4 million crystals gained showing he is a pro cheater 1000+ hours on m1 shaft with 1000+ hours on m0 hornet, and 1000 + hours with zero rated protects. They played the whole battle didn't go for flags, indeed carried on into the next battle as well.

Before anyone steps all over me for what I'm about to say, this is not my main account. It's much higher. 

 

Having said that...

 

If someone with substandard equipment joins my team, let (him) (her). I have no control over it and complaining about does no good. Sure, I could ask that player to change equipment and/or submit a game violation report. But what good would it do? The player refuses to change equipment, that player is still in the battle. If I were to submit a game violation, I'd either have to leave the battle to do it or stay and do it later. Either way, that player is still in the battle. If I don't like how the battle is going, I leave and  try to find a more suitable one. 

 

This is a Game no more, no less, just like any other online global game...Reversi, cards, little pixel cars that goes around a track..A Game. Not life. No one dies playing, unless you get so mad you burst a blood vessel in your head or have a heart attack. No game is worth that. 

 

If you get this upset over Virtual Reality, I'd hate to be around you in real life reality. Sounds like some of you need a course in Anger Management. You're getting stressed out over nothing. All stress does is give you ulcers, grey hair and a short real life span.

I hope you have taken the time to read the salient posts in this topic, even in the short time its been open, I think it has been shown that this issue arouses passion in quite a few people. The photos posted show two clear types of player who like to use sub par equipment in battles that should have much higher guns,hulls and protects for their rank. First there is a player type who has many m2 and and a few m3 items but chooses to use m0. Then you have a player type whom for what ever reason has not bought higher equipment than one m1 and many m0 and played for 1000+ hours, essentially a professional cheat making a weak link in the chain.

 

This results in two types of reactions from other players, one on previous pages who said to beat cheats you must cheat your self, I paraphrase ... by what ever means.... On this page we have a player who is so resigned to the fact that players cheat,

That doing nothing is the best option and just walking away from a battle, I expect after themselves putting in quite a bit of effort first. 

I know that you take this type of thing seriously or we would not have so much effort put in by battle moderators and chat moderators and the behind the scenes stuff that we don't know anything about. 

 

I believe that a reasonable case is beginning to build for upper limit cut off points of m0 equipment being used in high ranked battles. I know that this is only a small part of what goes on in tanki, and that the devs are busy with many things. If it ever does get changed i know it will not be a panacea from all sabotage behaviour, it may help a little.

 

If it is changed it may make player experience a little less frustrating and make less work load for battle moderators, which has to be a good thing for everybody.

I haven't checked the Complaint section in the past couple days, so I don't know if you took the Mod's advice. But you certainly are not taking the advice of other players. If you have not made your voice heard in the Complaint section, then you are not taking the advice of the Mod, either.

 

So, now I'm wonder how serious you really are about this or if you are trying to make an attempt at trolling and really don't care about players joining battles with substandard equipment. If you were serious, you would have taken the advice, but you haven't and there's a reason for that. What's the reason?

Yeah well to change the world you have 2 ways... either by force or with support from others.

 

Don't know how you're doing by force if you're even trying that but by gaining support it's clear you haven't done anything.

 

Progress might have been made by unreasonable people but... not by just any random unreasonable person. The dark ages was when people followed complee nonsence and they got the opposite of progress.

 

and how's that team you said you'll form coming along? I know you want to recreate tanki in your image but until you do that, in the meantime, you could form that team you said you would. It's easy and once you do it you won't have to be with anyone you don't want to be with. They can't put mults on your team if all 9 teammates are your friends.

I played a game the other day - 9 legends and an isida who was a Marshall. M1 isida. He did not even have the strength to heal me. Ridiculous!

There will always be stupid people in the world. It's your choice to put up with them. I'd have left the moment I saw the poor guy.

I'm not even mad.  I'm impressed. Even with that equipment he still managed to earn nearly 1 and a half million crystals. That takes some real dedication. Obviously it's hard work being a full-time mult.  :lol: Edit: Checked his profile, he has a surprisingly high K/D for someone who plays Hornet m0 in Legends battles!

 

Some speculation. If the enemy team you were playing against was full of clan, I have a feeling this guy was an alt of one of them. I'd pay VERY close attention to which battles you find this guy in.

I met this M0 user in battle -> http://ratings.tankionline.com/en/user/nero635/ - nothing but M0 in his garage; He stayed in battle for 4 whole rounds, no one in his team complained either.
