Why does tanki allow m0 guns and hulls to be used in m2 + battles

This is beginning to look like a more wide spread problem than tanki like to let on

116 hours on m0 viking speaks volumes, and he is trying to camp on m3  shaft m3 hornet... even i know you camp on a bigger hull.... not sure if he was trolling or something else

If that player has a better turret in their garage and doesn't change to it when you ask them to, then it's against the rules and you can report them for it. But if that's the best he has, nothing can be done about that unfortunately. That's just how equipment progression was designed in this game.

So if I go into an M1 battle with my M0 loadout and don't have any M1s but have enough crystals to buy M1s am I breaking the rules if I don't buy M1s to save up?

No, as long as you play well. There's only 1 modification difference in this scenario, which is pretty common and not game changing in most cases.

had another legend use m0 isida just now photos posted in game reports will update this post with details later on

 

Seems that my photos are not good enough to take action.

Players will not change their equipment when requested, there may be a language barrier, this is why it needs to be forced upon them

I don't think that's what they are talking about.  These players have M2/M3 equipment but refuse to use it.

 

Someone with an M4 Viking can afford better than m0 isida.  it's not like they jumped into garage to buy it during battle - they'd have to buy an M3.

He has only one M3 combo and it is Viking Thunder. Not good at close ranges and gets killed by M1 Firebird, Isida, Twins or Ricochet easily.

I know, it's the Raiden kit. it doesn't get killed easily if you know what to do - in fact it's one of best combos for Sandbox, where the battle took place. Also, he has a Firebird/Twins/Ricochet module. But you're missing the point here - the user has M3 and M2 equipment but he decided to use M0/M1 instead. This is sabotage.

You think it's smarter to use M1 Smoky instead of M3 Thunder... Pay attention to his rank he's supposed to play with M2/M3 equipment, M1 is useless at this rank bracket.

So two m2 short-range, 1 M3 Thunder, and M1 smoky but uses an M1/M0 combo in sandbox?

 

There's no reasonable explanation for that.

 

Viking works great in sandbox - so at very least that should be equipped.

There's no way you can convince me an m0/m1 combo works better - even in sandbox - than the Raiden Kit.

The two short-range M2s would be better than an m0.

This guys protects was carbon legacy which gives 22 smokey, 6 twins, 6 shaft at 2 micro upgrades, might as well have been m0 protect he was not the only one 3 mults were loaded who kept not playing then reloading and rejoining and 2 others with bad protects who joined after the other cheat mults left

 This is rife in the game and still tanki allow it to happen when will tanki put a stop to this equipment cheating

Bad protection modules? They work only against 3 of 13 guns, so they are basically useless. They are also very expensive. I think that the best module is Spider because mines are everywhere. No one cares about modules. They really do not affect the gameplay.

You can't climb so high with only M0.
