What's Your Method of Saving Crystals?

I looked around the forum a bit but couldn't find a similar topic. I just wanted to know how people save crystals and refrain from spending them. Since I know a lot of you will say, 'TTC', this is moreso about how you keep your crystals instead of buying MUs or the like.

But how do you keep yourself from spending? I tend to use one singe combo and just never enter the garage until I have enough crystals. It works for me...

There are plenty of topics about this. You might want to look deeper in the archives.

 

In general, the tips are.

 

1 - have a long term plan. This includes things like kit purchases, what equipment you want to use, and ultimately what you want your tank to look like as you enter and progress though the M3 ranks to Legend and beyond.

2 - execute every purchase decision toward that plan. Don’t get distracted by the new hotness or feature of the century of the week. This means not spending, duh. If it’s a kit, know when you can buy buy rank and when you can afford it. If those two don’t line up, rethink your plan.

3 - do your missions and use your free change to increase your chances of getting a crystal mission. Keep your mission chains going.

4 - kits notwithstanding, buy equipment on sales. There are plenty of sales, even 50% off ones, so be patient.

5 - consider Premium. The double battle fund, 50% additional XP, and daily bonus make reaching financial goals easier.

6 - consider buying with real money, but only as a last resort. Buy only during shop events such as bonus or discounts.

based on experience on my other legend acc.

 

stick with one combo you best at, better with those high Income/time guns.

 

like these, More damage/healing output = More crystal in battle, even in normal battle, but best in non-supply battle.

 

1. thunder, viking (splash damage on medium map)

2. fire, light hull in small, medium map (you dead more, but you output lot of damage before u dead)

3. isida, viking in medium map (healing gain experience fast, as heal ignore protection module and drug of teammate, while damage is reduced by enemy module and drug)

 

More Experence per hour = Faster rankup => more Rankup reward

 

by the time you unlock M3, MU to M4 or buy heavy hulls

I have 76k on this account without buying.

 

 

1. Do missons

2. Make chain rewards to week 5

3. Make freinds with people who drop for you :D

4. If you are making a new account I highly recommend getting the keeper kit and then buying shaft on a sale. If you look at my profile u'll see I only have Titan smoky and sharft m1. And a amazing KD

 

5. Stay in every battle u join till the end.

austen_pierce summed it up very well. The trick is to accept this mindset sincerely. When you are committed to the plan you will not squander Crystals. You will be too worried over Not Having Enough To Take Advantage Of The Next Sale.  It becomes a string of medium-length periods of saving up, followed by drunken sailor spending during the next sale. The thought of missing out on that sale will keep you miserly.

 

To which I suggest not dwelling on the battle payout screen or your overall rating page.  I do not even look at the battle results screen 75% of the time. Short term out of sight out of mind. It is the long-run that counts.

More Experence per hour = Faster rankup => more Rankup reward [ Do this only in pro battles, use non-pro battle only for missions, fi u do this is non-pro you will waste your drugs. You should never aim for fast rankup, instead gaining xp should be done at a moderate rate; too fast and the players on higher ranks with better equipment rekt you; too slow and you are not able to progress and lose out of better battle funds in the high ranks. Ranking fast only works for buyers]

It is true that u should not buy heavy hulls in m0 and m1 ranks but that cannot be said for m2 ranks.... m2 ranks are very time consuming and crystals come fast so buying OP heavy hulls like titan m2 isnt a bad choice]

That would be quite funny, but k/d would be awful. I play with M0 Hunter and Viking against generals, but they have full MU, so it is OK.

I have 220k crystals and I am definitely not a buyer . I use M2 thunder (6/10) and M2 Dictator as well as Kodiak T-D M2 .

the secret to gaining crystals is getting your weekly chain to 4 and keeping it that way , you'll get tons of supplies and crystals. I've had my weekly chain on the fourth week for 5 months . it's not impossible , 30 minutes every day for one mission only will keep it running .

do not spend your crystals on meaningless things like paints or kits , 1 good kit is enough to get you where you want . no need to get 3 M2s

1 M3 is better than 5 M2s in your garage , it's about quality , not quantity .

be patient , you don't get 100 000 every day , if you can pull off 2000 in one day , it's amazing , but if you can't you'll be a bit slower .

again , keep your weekly chain running for several months if you can , try never to break it . it is a gold mine !!!

try to enter the winning team , losing teams will make you get XP faster with less crystals , you'll rank up and fight stronger people with your weak equipment .

spending 20 bucks on the 1500 supplies kit from the shop will not harm you ,buy it if you need it .

 

that's pretty much it.
