Removal of Hard Missions

​Why not remove them closer to the update. I like the idea of XT Skins but they are not coming for a while so just leave super missions until they come.

IMO the only viable option regarding XT MUs is to fully refund those crystals to players.

 

Any attempt to merge XT MUs with standard equipment will lead to disaster and rage. The economics just don’t make sense. Since XT MUs never went on sale, you cannot equate an XT MU to a Standard MU which may or may not have been purchased on sale. Please don’t try this. Just do the right thing and refund those XT MU crystals because you know exactly how many to give back.

 

and what about those who won fully MUed XTs from tournaments or dream tanks? In tournaments there's always the option to get a certain amount of crystals instead of m4 XTs... which is only a small fraction of the cost of buying and MUing the XT.

I seriously don't understand this. Ok, you're updating XT items to skins, that's great. But why do you have to remove them from daily missions? Why can't you just replace the XT items in missions to XT skins? If you think there are too many XT missions out there, in my opinion, XT missions are extremely rare and I've never got any XT item from my daily mission.

Containers have been stoles into TO, and now XT-Skins is too. Soon they will add modules (The new abillities on tanks) and the TX will have nothing special besides the interface :) Well done!!

I won’t speak for those people, but again IMO a refund is warranted. Profound value will be lost in the conversion.

well Cedric did say this when he was the Cm , and was going to get back to us on it . it would not be fair if players did not get it. seeing Xt items are to be skins and have no protection or upgrades to them , they will be treated just like a paint to your tank . we will have to wait this one out..

 

see when they changed over multi player passes we were given a refund on them , seeing they ended in the middle of a month time frame and who had them longer got so much in crystals back for it/ and less for others . so lets hope they stick to what Cedric said in the past .. will try to find his posting..

Yes, all the super hard missions will be removed permanently (when the Rugby mode comes)except for the ones you started completing  :rolleyes:  

i.e. if you already have a super mission like make 9999 kills & you've completed 1546/9999 then your mission will stay till the release of XT skins

Tanki was able to time travel when the "gold box glitch of Black Friday" occurred. Why can't you do the same thing yet simpler thing this time? Just remove only the XT item from mission if you must.

I have now two BIG Missions:

1. Destroy enemies 9999- reward 105,000 crystals I am now on a 1989

2. is standard and not need to talk about

3. Earn experience in battle 99999- Reward is 84,000 crystals, I am now on a 29848.

 

I ask You what will happen with my missions If I don't get to the finish until You kill the missions?

First scenario:

1. You kill the missions and I don't get anything. IT IS BAD ENDING.

2. You kill the missions and I get proportionally crystals to the final scores or a results. GOOD ENDING.

3. You kill the missions and I still have a missions to finish and I get my full reward after I finish them. BEST ENDING.

4. You kill the missions with XT reward and everything else stay the same. SUPER ENDING.

 

I want to know what is the final decision of Your.

I have another idea to add to this change...

 

PLEASE CAN TANKI GET RID OF THE MAGNUM TURRET??

 

It totally ruins the game and makes the balance of the game very bad. It is worse than when hammer was introduced, at least that was fixed and balanced. Magnum needs a MAJOR fix or just get rid of it please!

 

Too many turrets in the game anyway now.... That means more deaths and much quicker. Drug use is so high, it is getting ridiculous! This game seems to no longer be about enjoyment and fun, when you MUST purchase drugs to even survive, let alone even hope to make it up the ranks at all.

 

Anyone else have any views on this? this is just my opinion here, but I wanted to share it. Thanks  :D

the XT-skins will look the same as the old look but it will no longer have protection on it and the cost might be  changed, there either going to have them sold in shop - in containers or as is XT-skin / for a short time they will be on sale then prices will change or or a contest  .. this is what they did in Tanki X and I think it might  be the same here.. best advise is either buy now and upgrade or wait it out like I'am and see what happens.

Hey @CooperO, if you see this, next time you see Please tell him to write the announcement with all knowledge in it, because from what I've read it took 4+ pages to clarify if super missions are staying or going and xts etc. I understood until reading through several pages of clarification that all our xt missions will dissapear.

Actually, the announcement contained all the information already, which you can also see from the first few answers I gave in the topic (I too get my information from the announcement only). It's just that many don't read the full announcement and get confused about it, it always happens. That's why we're here to clarify things if needed. Apart from that, there will always be questions that couldn't have been anticipated.

 

I have a xt mission that is at 4000/9999

 

When XT skins are introduced to the game does the reward change to THUNDER XT M3 SKIN, or is the mission removed completely? 

You have to finish your mission before skins are introduced, otherwise you will lose your mission.

Because no one (ok, barely anyone) will have time to finish a super mission just a few days prior to the skins update. Now the average player should still have enough time to complete a super mission before skins are introduced.

So what I conclude from all this is that

 

1. New Super missions ( giving out any reward type ) will not be handed out after Rugby mode comes out

 

2. Already handed out Super missions ( giving out any reward type ), before Rugby mode is released, will stay until XT skin update comes out

 

 

Now what I dont get is : what will happen to already handed out super missions ( giving out any reward type ), before Rugby mode comes out, that are uncompleted even after XT skin update comes out

 

will they still be there?

 

or

 

will they be removed immatter of the mission state / progress ?

 

If yes, they will be removed completely with release of XT skin update then :

 

1. Rugby mode update comes out as a warning bell / alarm to complete the super missions asap

 

2. XT skin update will come out as a end to your rewards from Super missions whether completed & unclaimed, or uncompleted

Too soon to tell. All we know for sure is that XT skins can be obtained from containers. Whether they'll be fore sale in the Shop or in the garage as individual items is not known for now.

No, your thunder XT skin will look exactly the same as your current thunder XT does now. Only the way you equip it an the functionality will change basically.

I have a mission kill 9999 and i am 2/3 done.

I cannot really finish the mission anytime soon and now all my effort is going in vain?!?

WT?!?!

Please reconsider this update. I recomend for the missions to not be removed for the current moment for those who are still in the process of finishing it, no matter how hard or time cunsuming the way would be.

For all of you who are confused:

 

What Tanki Devs want to do is remove SEPARATE XT equipment completely and replace them with applicable skins to your REGULAR non-XT equipment. So, instead of having a Railgun M3 and a Railgun XT M3 in your garage separately, you'll have a Railgun M3 and the option to use an XT skin on it or not.

 

And to remove XT equipment completely, they have to remove the Super-Missions that give you XT equipment (such as "Kill 9999 enemies, or earn 99999 XP).

 

They said it's going to be difficult to remove this because there are Super-Missions with the same objective, but a crystals reward, or a supplies reward. Since this is the case, they are announcing that they'll remove the Super-Missions later, so that people with Super-Missions can complete them quickly enough before the deadline.

DeathXHunt, You've missed a factor in your post about the upgrades people currently have on their XT equipment,

     So, To clarify the upgrades that are on their XTs  will be compensated. as XT equipment e.g [Railgun M3 XT] won't exist.
