Completed Add more maps to the map pool of standard battles

          Guys, recently Kolhoz, Cross, and Bobruisk were among the maps which were laid off and removed from "Non-Pro" battles :(

 

           These maps were really one of those maps which were quite enjoyable and fun to play but ever since they have been removed from Non-Pro battles their sightings are as rare as a Black Box.

           

          It might not be a big deal for some of you but if you are among the group who want these maps to be re-instated then leave your suggestions on this topic. If enough people would vote, then I guess Tanki developers will surely take a look at this situation and take the required action.  :)

There were at least a dozen maps removed from the basic list not just these three. I frankly do not miss Kolhoz at all but that is besides the point. These dozen maps should be returned to the basic mix. If some need re-work (like Kolhoz) so be it. But bring them back.

Even though some maps might stick in the battle-list for long periods, they will not crop up as often initially if the pool to select from is larger.

true. there is also so many maps that aren't being played because they are not in the non-pro battle list, so they are just a waste. i played in a 20 vs 20 dusseldorf xp/bp not long ago and it was so much fun. Wich i could play in those more often but they never show up

Cross was one of my favorite maps.. so great to play.

 

I've to admit that it's a bit too small for 10vs10.. which might be the reason why it was removed.

But it's still sad.. it's awesome, and suits beginners as well as pro's as it can be played "simple" and "complex".

dude this is so annoying we keep losing maps that become pro battle  :angry:  :angry:  Madness, Noise, and Monte carlo were removed. what is this?!?

I agree  :( for some of us, the maps which we had most fun in, were removed. For me, it was Wave. I enjoyed jumping around with friends, just battling and thats a map with most memories for me :/ Personally, Tanki shouldn't have removed these maps or even added new areas in maps, some of them, like polygon and massacre, etc, they looked way better before the 10v10 update and now the look is ruined  -_- Hopefully tanki will add back all the maps :)

Cross was an amazing map, the reason mainly being it was the first map i ever played when i started this game.

Kolhoz was a nice map, it suited shafts yet it was good for short range turrets.

I don't remember any of these maps but I still think it'll be a great idea to make them non-pro . pro battle are hardly ever played (do not count the famous ones like polygon or island) and some of these maps are really fun to play , so forcing them to be pro-battles only is literally killing them .

Anyways thats off topic, and I would like to see alot more maps brought in, or at least a few. I mean shure some aren't used 24/7 but they really are alot of fun to do missions in... Im just gonna stay hopeful :). Playing the same few maps I see in non pro cp battles just gets boring... after a while.

But good Luck and Hopefully some of the maps come back.

If I'm completely honest, I don't like the sound of the matchmaking system and I currently don't like the way that every single map has to fit into the "10v10" size category to be allowed to feature as a non-PRO battle. So many maps are becoming very similar to one another and losing their originality.

 

Personally, I preferred the non-PRO battle list as it was before with all these old maps. I dislike the new Polygon, Highland and Silence...the new Highland is horrendus (you just get spawn-killed by camping Magnums/Thunders from both bases).
