Better modules system

Recommended Posts

Here is my idea - protection modules only reduce the max. damage of a weapon, not the max. and min.

So, if my minimum damage is, say 540, I can never do less than this. However protection values should be changed accordingly:

25% - M0

35% - M1

45% - M2

55% - M3

75% - M4

To reduce the maximum damage of a weapon by much more.

Declined

First of all, why? It's a unique idea, but you didn't give any reasons for why this is necessary or how it would benefit gameplay.

Second, what about turrets that have constant damage per shot? Or turrets with very little range of damage? I get that for Railgun or Magnum the reduction would be very significant, but for example Twins would only deal 20 less damage per shot (200 instead of 220) against a 75% module. It simply doesn't work.

first of all , I don't see how could that help me , since I use thunder this will only be bad for me , because it won't affect my gameplay against other tankers but other tanks will have a huge advantage over me .

secondly , the values u mentioned are incredibly high , 75% damage reduction is too much , even for an M4 .

75% damage reduction of Max. damage only.

75% of max damage means that your projectile will always make the minimum damage , that will not work at all .

It depends on the weapon. This would be true for some weapons, but not all. Look at Mangum and Railgun, for example.

thus bringing more imbalance to the game , which is one more reason not to implement it
