Random events/changes in battle

As shown here I started this idea earlier, but was not developed enough. Therefore, here is what I have thought up...

 

These random alterations would come into the game like a goldbox sign, all big and orange at the top. They would appear slightly more often as a goldbox, one per game or two if you are lucky.

 

Because Maf liked it before,

 

Faster supply drops for 30 seconds - This will increase action in battles and allow a team who may not be far behind to catch up again if used correctly

 

Space mode for the next minute - Many people have been wanting space mode to come occasionally into the battle lists and so this would be an interesting feature

 

No boundaries for the next minute - this one could be tied to the previous, and the map would change to parkour, except there is still smart supplies and experience and crystals can be earned. There would be a 15 second warning before this one ends to allow any tanks out of the boundaries to get back in.

 

For the next 30 seconds any deaths are not a contribution to your D/L, in game or as a whole (on profile) - this would allow campers to be involved and increase battle activity.

 

Decreased friction for the next 30 seconds - this is just an interesting tweak and i think it would be fun to see everyone sliding around. It would create a challenge in battle. The friction would be decreased by about .25

 

 

 

 

I don't think any of these (except space and no boundaries) should be able to be activated at the same time, and appear slightly more often than goldboxes.

I just realised that this is very similar to the "randomat" item in TTT (I wonder if anyone knows what I'm talking about :P), which is a really fun thing sometimes. Taking some ideas from there, we could also have things like random health, increased speed, constant health loss (e.g. 10 hp per second), increased damage, invisible nicknames etc.

 

Very interesting idea.

I've got a couple ideas:

 

Capture Craze;

Capture Points can be captured almost instantly for a minute, making it so people rush for center (in case of Old Polygon) and Magnums can be used more effectively, allowing more kills per shot.  This would also work well for those annoying druggers that equip double damage and spam the Medkit.  

Wallhack Wackiness;

Everyone can see the outlines of tanks, friend or foe, for 30 seconds.  This will allow people to defend easier, and also allow people to sneak up on people around corners (that is, if they don't see you).  The enemy team's healthbars will also be visible.

 

Invis Insanity:

Everyone is invisible, including projectiles.  You can still see glowing effects of attacks, but the glow will be weaker.  Allies will be transparent, like ghosts.  This will last anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes.

 

An alternate event would be to have the map be invisible for 30-60 seconds. instead of the tanks...Madness would be a nightmare

I thought of some of my own:

 

Insta-cap; for 30 secs, touching the enemy flag instantly counts as one cap, but have to wait 5 secs for it to be counted again, during this, flags are unable to be moved by tanks.

 

Alternation; all players receive a random Alteration for 30 secs for their turret.

 

Tank Supplements; All players have every supply activated for 1 minute, if they die and respawn, their supplies are still activated. Mines and Repair Kits are activated every 10 seconds.

 

Crystal box Return; multitudes af crystal boxes containing 1 crystal each will drop and cover the battlefield. Drops only once.

 

Double Fund; Battle fund is doubled for 30 secs.

 

Triple Fund; Battle Fund is tripled for 20 secs

 

Ultima-Fund; Battle fund is multiplied by 10 for 10 secs!!!

 

Exp Farm; For 30 secs, players earn double exp

 

Team-Deathmatch; players on the same team can damage each other for the next minute, killing a teammate earns 1 exp. Isidas no longer heal teammates. (friendly fire)

 

Scrambled Radio; All players cannot use the chat for 5 mins, cutting off team communication.

 

M0 Memory Lane; Unless if they are already M0, All players’ tanks are turned to their M0 counterparts for 1 minute.

 

Switch-Team; the players are moved to the opposing team (If you are on the red team, you are now on the Blue team. Same goes for players on the blue team). Also, the scores stay. (Ex. In a CTF battle, red is winning 3-0, when the teams switch, blue (now the red team) is winning by 3-0.

like some of them, but tanki wont allow extra xp/battle fund. . .also i think scrambled radio should cut off team chat only, not all chat.

No, it will take another element of skill away from the game. Already, ODs and drugs just suck the fun away, this would do it completely.
