Which Game Mode is Your Favorite?

Hello, Here, you can discuss your favorite game mode in Tanki and why you like it.

Based on the server activity, CTF is the most popular game mode. During peak server hours, it has 3 times as many battles more than the other modes.

My personal favorite is, CTF. I like it because you earn easy exp and it’s the mode where cooperation is key. It also requires a lot of skill.

CTF is my fav. It’s the one mode where I can use my Railgun and kill without too many enemies targeting me.

Mainly because they are more focused on the flag

Which mode? ASL?

 

If so, than speed boost really helps, because you can rush past enemy defenses and easily attack the base.

For CTF, speed is key to getting away from the enemy base with the flag.

I play CTF and CP for bigger funds, but TDM is what I'm really into. Just pure combat, no silly flags or points to worry about.

CTF and ASL are the most interesting, but until devs add matchmaking to have proper balance of teams, DM is my preferred game mode.

I dont mind CP
Not really a fan of DM (no hate)
I tried getting into ASL (but there aren't many maps created or players joining

CP XP/BP is my favourite. This is the only mode where I'm good.

RGB is the best because I use thunder and the enemy team always gathers where the ball drops and I can deal a huge amount of damage , within seconds I'll by on top of my team .

also I don't have to go all the way across the map and come back to earn some XP (like in CTF) .

 

TDM is cool too but full of mults and ends quite early because one team reaches the kill quota quickly.

I play them all. I guess my favorite would be TDM since that's the mode I mostly play. It depends on my mood, how active I want to be, how much effort I feel like putting forth and where I can find the most players close to my rank. 

 

When choosing a battle this is the order in which I'll look:

 

TDM...CP...CTF...ASL...RGB...Dm. I don't really like DM and only play it if I have a mission, though sometimes I'll change it.

Careful there, if your enemies get too annoyed, they'll just forget about capturing the flag for the moment and come right after you.

Assault is my all time favorite. Rugby is next, then CTF.

 

I play a lot of CP and DM but those are grinder battles.

 

TDM just feed like a lightweight version of every other team mode.

 

One other note on Rugby - battle funds seem to be crazy high. For about the same effort, I’m earning 2-3x crystals in Rugby.

CTF RGB and ASL if I'm in a camping mood as targets come to me and become Viking fodder.

 

CPT and TDM  if I want to drive around.

 

DM only when I have to I get tired of the spawn/shoot tank in front while being shot from behind/die/repeat.

It depends on what I'm using, but most people congregate in CTF and never seem to leave. I do have two modes I hate; Rugby and Deathmatch.

CTF but it's rarely played by teams with any purpose. Most play it liks TDM or just waiting for golds.
