Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.

 

Post your situations that always go wrong at the worst possible time. I'll start:

 

1. An enemy tank pops up right after you exit sniper mode with Shaft.
2. A teammate will drive in front of you just as you are about to lock-on with Striker. 
3. You will get one-shotted right after enabling Overdrive.
4. A full-health teammate takes a repair kit right before you do.

My team is on the enemy side spawn killing. I die, respawn and see 3 enemy Mammoths patrolling our base, two of them at my spawning zone. I'm immediately dead meat. When I respawn again, I spawn in the same zone with the same two Mammoths sitting there. I respawned 4 times in the same spot. The fifth time I respawned on the other side of the base and snuck away.

Hasn't happened to me, but I'd think that there is at least 1 tanker who has had this experience.

 

You're saving for a sale to purchase an m3, you're at General rank. You have 150,000 crystals saved up. Just to "tease" yourself, you click on the twins purchase window, and then when you are messing around, you accidentally hit yes, a day before the sales. 

 

It's hard for this to happen, but as you said "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong."

Playing a clutch battle.

Escapes the enemy base with the flag while with 3% - 10% hp. If i cap this flag, this will tie with the other team.

 

Two m1 team mates comes with to assist while one with an overdrive. I thought i have a chance to tie.

 

Then u realise the nub wont use their overdrive and ur repair kit is half way through the cooldown.

on my spanish account i was in dussledorf i hid with enemy flag for 10 minutes waiting for my team to return enemy flag so i could capture it. I gave up waiting so i hid the flag somewhere and went to hunt the enemy flag holder myself. I did it in less than a minute and returned our flag but i forgot where i hid the enemy flag. I tried to look for it but it got returned before i could pick it up again

A similar experience happened on my team. The flag bearer had been holding the flag for quite awhile. Half the team was trying to return our flag, but it went from tank to tank several times. I saw in the notifications box that the enemy flag was lost, but it never returned back to the enemy base. I don't know if our flag bearer put it down, lagged and was booted out of the game or what. When I respawned, I went looking for the flag. I saw it and just as I was about to grab it, it was returned. Somehow, the enemy was able to cap. I think our team got to involved with playing TDM instead of CTF.

I join a DM to complete a mission, then two Magnums spawn beside me, and of course they'll both target me, with DD on.

When I was a beginner, I used to play with Wasp - Fire on Barda because I was too lazy to go through the battle list to find a suitable battle for this combo.

I step into a mine seconds after enabling overdrive.

Enemy drops a mine while I'm pushing him.

I flip over just after enabling overdrive, damn Wasp.

You burn an enemy with firebird, but a teammate with freeze cools down the enemy and steals your kills. :unsure:

 

That's why I don't like teammates with freeze. :angry:

Than, a noob teammate that has a cap flags mission blocks your way to cap. 

 

You try your best to push him out of the way.

 

Suddenly, a Thunder kills you both, leaving the base defenseless, returns the flag, grabs your flag and runs away.

 

Your team loses the battle.

When a noob legend blocks you from capping in a 0-0 game and you both get magnumed, opponent returns, caps, and you lost the game and the legend says that its your fault for being so noob.

I just had a Murphy's Law. I had to get 3 flags for a mission. I was on a map with very few players, so I knew I had a good chance. Made 2 right away. Stayed for the next round. I think there was 4 blue and 1 red, I was on blue. Managed to grab the flag, but the game ended on the way back to base. Again, I stayed. Still 4 and 1. Right away, I went for the flag. Grabbed it and one of my teammates decided he was going to get me killed. He was killed, instead. I loaded a RK and just as I was about to cap, game ended. 

 

Darn, on that last round, I was so close to our flag, I could have opened the hatch and touched it with my hand, not just my finger tips. Just a half a second, I would have had it. If it hadn't been for my teammate, I would have. 

 

Stayed for the 4th battle. Teams were even, this time, 4v4. While I was still ghosting, I made a beeline for the flag. As soon as I materialized, I grabbed a SB and loaded a DA. Grabbed the flag and loaded a SB. I took several hits on the way back and loaded a Rk. Got to our base, but on the other side from where the cap was and got hit again. I don't know by what, but it took 98% of my health. I couldn't load a RK yet. I made it to our cap, but just as I got there, I was killed by one Ricochet shot. The timing was so close, it was a toss of the coin. I didn't even hear the cap sound. I looked up at the mission star.....and lo and behold....I made it!!
