Rugby Mode is coming January 27th

There is absolutely no teamwork and everyone wants the ball for themselves

 

I would really like to see rugby in xp-bp mode... 

First day no one has developed a sense of game tactics yet.

Or make esports clan with the friends you make. esports battles are very balanced.

 

What you wish for has already been right here within your reach all along...

When I get M3s I may play only PRO battles or something like you say, right now I'm ranking up slow.

Played a few battles in Rugby and the one thing I noticed (having experienced it on the testservers the gameplay wasn't all that new) was how it takes the most OP turret in the game (Magnum) and makes it even better.

 

 Magnums camp in the corner, nobody pays attention to them because the ball is somewhere else, and the splash damage into the cluster of tanks trying to fight each other is insanely effective.  If you end up hunting down the Magnum your team loses that much effectiveness as you are not helping in the fight for the ball.

 

The same priority principle applies to Shaft but Shaft does not have that splash damage so it is not a big problem.

 

Why does no one realize that realistic artillery doesn't take down fast-moving targets?  Nerf the Magnum.

As far as the super missions go - I have had loads of them and always rejected them as they provided no discernable advantage over normal missions, but indeed a disadvantage as the reward was no better but it tied up a mission when you need to keep chains going. Soooo - good riddance to bad rubbish is all I can say!

Rugby was thought to be extremely intense, however, 90% of the time nobody knows where the ball is. 

 

Suggestion:

- the ball be must larger when its on a tank

- the ball should be neon colored so it attracts attention 

- when you are not looking towards the ball, the green rugby icon will pop up on the side of the screen telling you generally what direction the ball is at.

They were only good for people who played many hours a day and could complete such a mission in a few weeks. And they gave XT items for free, so that was their main value.

This new mode would be perfect for pro battles, especially in Silence space mode parkour battles, many would just play catch the ball in there.  :lol:

RGY is quite good because we use the map differently, and also its like assault but both team plays it. It's good for KD too :P - lost of snipers (all the long rang turret), I know where I will do the Kill tiers now.

It's a better mode than ASL, it's like a ASL v2.

 

I haven't seen people with holding the ball or mining too much one are, if it happens we could switch the touch down base to a different area after a touch down.

It was a great idea to put this mode in the game.

The gameplay is just perfect, not like ASL where most of the time Red wins without even a need of supplies use.

The bad thing is that I have a total potato PC and too many things there at one place makes me unable to play my main turret - Striker, due to lag.  :(

And if you're a Striker user, you know what I mean.  :D

I myself have been getting those errors when I join but now it got slightly better unlike before where I got the error every single time I joined the battle and the battle loaded. Others also talked about the same issue in this topic, will be forwarded to the developers. Other than this, the mode itself is quite amusing.

Since this New Update of RGB mode there are couple of things gone Wrong and need to be Fixed.

 

1) The Notification is gone Missing From the Top of the Screen in RGB and CTF mode about who has taken the Flag or Ball and who lost it and Who captured or Scored a Goal which needs to Be Fixed.

 

2) ERROR'S Its simply annoying for everyone when u join a Battle or in the middle of the battle which leads to many glitches like parachute of dropping things are missing and black patches at some place,  Also sometimes unable to take supplies from drop zone and the best one is the timer of SHIFT is Frozen at 99% and never comes back until you rejoin the battle but after rejoining the battle it goes to 0%.

 

3) After playing RGB i can say its a nice mode to play, it lacks some things and needs some modification.

 

a) If the developers can add a function like to drop the ball at same place by the push of F key and if we hold the F key for few seconds it can throw the ball away few distance just like the way magnum works for shooting close and far.

 

b) Along with that shooting if developers can show a small dotted lines structure where the ball will be thrown with the amount of power used to throw while Holding F key that will give us an idea to throw at our team members and avoid the BAD throw which ends up nowhere.

 

c) I have noticed that when we throw the ball at wall it stays near the wall. it needs to change and get some bouncing effect which will bounce it back.

 

d) Please Make the Ball Glow so Players can know who has the ball. Because its very difficult to know Who has the ball in the crowd as Paints also helps make the Ball Disguised. It would be Better if the Ball Glows like the Flag.

 

e) Also the Score of ASL mode and RGB is not found respectively on the Profile page (how many hrs played and XP earned)

 

So Far i just came with these suggestions Hope to update more after some further Game play.

XT items are only useful once you have the whole normal garage at M4, unless you are extremely vain. Why anyone would want the same item again in XT format and then have to MU it again is beyond me, unless you have nothing else more useful to use crystals for.

Kungur RGB is kind of a waste of space. All of the action takes place on the center bridge where the ball drops and on either end where the goals are.

 

The rest of this vast map is a ghost town in this mode.

yes the distance is too short between the 2 goals especially when the ball appears in the middle of the bridge. Move the red goal.

Maybe RGB should be on less map, but good map. Same foe ASL though.

 

Barda is quite fun.

So it doesn't look like 5xGB or Rugby mode effect - its more if the STD weekend effect.
