Well that much is true. Containers can sit unopened until you need the money or supplies inside. Until then you have not lost much aside from some chance to Premium Account time.

 

Don't understand why you'd handicap yourself over some Paints that nothing forces you to ever equip.But it's your game to play your way.

I'm also waiting for XT updates, which is like more paints, and I want to see if devs want to make a reject or exchange button for container rewards. Because the way things are, eventually people will end up with dozens and dozens of paints in their garages and many will not like that, so the exchange and reject button is possible.

I would suggest to make the chance of getting a paint from the containers rarer.  Soon enough everyone will have lots and lots of high-end paints, driving them down in value.  Another option is to split the garage paint rarity by price.

25% discounts -- a little chintzy. MU's at the upper end cost way more than an entire hull or turret at the level below it. When is the next real MU discount?

You just have to wait and follow the news to get aware of coming discounts :)

No, a Reject Button that you can click on to reject an unwanted item, like a paint you don't want in your garage.

So far our container tracking project is reporting 9% or 10% of containers give out a Paint. I have to admit that is more than I expected. At 3 containers per week in a year the average player will get about 9 garage paints, 3 shop paints, and 1 so-called Legendary paint. OTOH even so that would take years for an account to get all the Paints.

 

It might already be true that the more expensive paints are awarded less often that the less expensive choices in the same Rare / Epic / Legendary categories.

 

Having a lot of paints no one buys doesn't do TO much good. Maybe putting them in containers wil end up with more players interested in this feature?

Depends on what yo mean by "going down". I would say the average account will have more resources. So the difficulty in keeping pace with TO's economy is "going down". Put another way the poverty rate should be going down. :)

i'm afraid tanki won't do 50% on MU's anymore, since a 50% on MU mean that you get a FULL FREE step from the old MU system(40/40) so i think they did this 25% discount to test it, just like they did with so many things, first they test it on a weekend, then it becomes permanent.
