Many players blame developers for changing the game and making it suitable for Pay to play players. Today we will discuss few Updates that changed the game, Given idea & suggestions by Players and now Players Blame Developers for it.

Crystal Box
Many players reported that their teammates are Sabotage not destroying anyone but pick up Crystal boxes. Pushing each other, not capturing the flag and not helping your team, it was become so common that battle moderators got a lot of reports everyday. A player suggested removing Crystals boxes from Tanki Online, at that time many players was agreed with it and Crystal boxes was removed in exchange of battle fund increase faster.

Players agreed with the idea to remove Crystal boxes and developers accepted it. It reduced sabotage by 80%. Nowadays in battle you shall see players write ''No kills (when gold drop)'' in battle chat but when the Gold Box drops teammates push Each other for the Gold Box. When gold box drop it is just an example of the players of that time for Crystal boxes.
Do you blame developers for it?

Create Battle Button
Old players, remember the time when everyone was able to create a battle. Many players blame developers for removing it. Why it was removed? After cool updates players started to report about lag. Developers find out that too many battles was 1 of the reasons of lag and few bugs. Battle button was also the reason of spam when players was able to name their battle. In Update #427, only premium users and PRO Pass holders was able to make battle. It reduced lag and fixed a lot of bugs. But some players thought they are doing this for money. After the announcement in V-log some players believed it and some player didn't believe that lag was the issue. But I still blame developers because I cannot play on Noise without PRO Pass.

Paying Items:

Gold Box Supply
Idea given by players that let them drop Gold Box or let them giveaway crystals (Idea accepted); When said in V-log about the Gold Box supply. Many players thought it will be like other supplies (For crystals or free) and many was like''Now we will make new account and transfer crystals with the help of Gold box supply''; After release many players thought that it's developer idea to make more money from the game. Non-buyers went against
Tanki developers and started to blame them. Believe it or not, If Gold Box was like other supplies the game was destroyed.

Premium Account -- The biggest Issue
Players wanted something new so developers planned about it; After the release of premium accounts. Non-buyers went against Tanki because it was for money or you have to won a contest to get it. So developers added premium account 3h in daily missions for non-buyers. But old players went against it when they noticed that premium users (Buyers) are ranking up fast as well as earning crystals faster. This topic is still discussed and old players (non-buyers) are still against it and somehow they want it to be removed. They know developers will not listen to them but still making topics on it.

Clan license
Idea given about In-game Clan by many players including me. After the release of clan license few players went against the idea that it is for buyers.

In-game Clan What we wanted

▬ Clan Base
▬ In-Game Clan Wars Clan VS Clan System

What it is
▬ To create Clan you need Clan licence which is for Buyers
▬ No Clan Base
▬ No In game Clan VS Clan System. If you want a War take screenshot and post it in the forum on your clan topic.

Clan can be for crystals which can cost near 50,000-55,000 crystals which are easy to collect but developers don't want this to happen maybe. I posted about it on ideas & suggestions but this was declined.
 
If clan license was for buyers at least developers fulfill the promise (Clan base, in-game Clan vs Clan feature).

Maybe because they made us to pay for it.

▬ Crystals boxes was removed to reduce Sabotage which worked well. In exchange, Battle fund increase faster.
▬ Create battle button reduced battle lags as well as improved the servers but after this update we need pro pass or premium account to play on our favorite maps (Noise is mine).
▬ Few players of us wanted to create Events and giveaway crystals to winners. Gold box came but you need to pay.
▬ Premium account is for buyers but i'm agreed with G-Time.
▬ Clan license. There is a big difference between what we wanted and what we got and what was promised.

Do you blame developers?

We cannot rewrite the past but we can change the future. With ideas & suggestions, can we improve Tanki Online and make it better again?
Are developers turning Tanki Online from free to play into pay to play?
Did old players left Tanki Online because of pay to play updates?
Will developers accept our suggestions how we suggested?
What is the future of Tanki Online?

Blame the NS!!!

Clan vs Clan already exists and I think it's fine if creating clan costs real money because it is one of those feature that is available only for buyers but doesn't make game unfair for non buyers.

Sure glad the only idea I created that got accepted isn't up there (test drives) 

 

I'm surprised that the worst update isn't up there. It's the protection module one. Some players wanted to have combinations between their paints to so they can wear one paint in their garage while having the protection modules of another paint on. Devs turned that idea into created something extremely expensive to buy, the protection module. (RIP my dreams of buying zeus paint) That truly turned the game P2W because now we have to somehow get even more crystals to get a good module.

Noise is not in Matchmaking system. Click Battle button 1K times but it will never create battle in Noise Map. Moderators said it's not in non-pro battle system list.

Noise actually was a non-PRO battle map, it got removed from the regular battle list on the 23rd of March 2017.

Crystal Boxes: They ruined play because people just hunted for them rather than joining in with the battle, with bad consequences for the team. A helper friend of mine once said he always played in Lost Temple for the sole reason of farming the crystal boxes which fell in the central area.

 

Gold boxes cannot be compared to these. Crystal boxes used to fall constantly, whereas Gold Boxes are a rare and special sight (unless they're dropped ones of course). You can't farm Gold Boxes in the same way as you could with Crystal Boxes. Therefore, I think your argument is not valid.

 

Create Battle Button: I don't remember this, I wasn't around. But isn't the eradication of lag and bugs much better? As for your complaints about Noise, the Developers ruined that map by introducing Magnum, which is officially the most annoying weapon imaginable. (And people complain about how "my magnum m4 doesnt 1 shot m3 hulls omg why you ruin this turret". Face it people, it's broken).

 

Gold Box Supply: You need to think here. Did you really think the Developers would give everyone a way of transferring crystals from one account to another? No, of course they wouldn't - and quite rightly so. You should be grateful that you can acquire these Gold Supplies through missions or containers.

 

Oh and by the way, the Developers do need to make money to keep the game running. That's why they have to charge money for certain things.

 

Premium Account: What's wrong with people ranking up faster and earning more? There's Premium Account in many many online games. What I have a problem with is the Premium Account daily bonuses. They really do favour buyers heavily.

 

Clan License: I would really like to see the unfinished Clan System completed. However (yet again), do you really think the Developers would put something like this out for free? Owning a clan isn't pay to win, as it gives you no more benefits than if you were simply a member of that clan. As with most items that don't affect gameplay (paints, Gold Box supplies etc), Tanki will always make sure these items stay in the Shop.

 

They have to make a living somehow. This game isn't a hobby for them, please understand this.

Designers are accountable for the profound lack of vision applied to this game over the last five years plus.

 

Developers are accountable for one botched release after another.

Yeah its all the noob devs we blame them to this very very bad game :( we miss old tanki we miss old RAILGUN we miss old noise when there was no maganum in the game :( when isida was balanced :(

 

So we blame them coz they don't buff railgun
