Revise point system for Assault mode

I want the blue team's score system to be revised again.


 


This time, the blue team will score points automatically (like before), but at a slower rate. So, instead of 1 point every 10 seconds, its 1 point every 15 seconds or so.


 


Additionally, whenever a player on the blue team destroys an enemy carrying the flag, than the blue team receives 1 point.


All other enemies destroyed will not give points.


 


All-in-all, in a fifteen-minute battle, the blue team can score about 67 or 68 points automatically, and the rest requires the team to kill red team players that are carrying the flag.


 

Besides, currently, the blue team cannot kill red enemies as fast as the red team captures flags.

(A red team member captures a flags and earns his team 7 points. The blue team than destroys that player, but only earns 1 point)

I don't know about this. I think the current point system is already quite balanced and battles end in a big score map either because the teams have different levels of strength or the map itself is unbalanced.

Some maps have blue at a distinct advantage, some have red at distinct advantage. I personally feel that it needs to be reworked to where the flag and point is placed on maps. I also think that ASL should awards players more points for killing a flag-bearer or a cap because they only give you like 5 points per cap.

i personally find AS mode unbalanced and i don't like playing it , some maps are meant for the blue team while others are meant for red , there is a great unbalance in almost all maps for that particular mode . the reason for that is the 2 teams do not have the same objective , every team has its own goal and the blue team is basically huge hulls and thunders with isidas and they're all campers so there's no way to break through them and cap the flag , while the red team is a bunch of hornets running around trying to get lucky with capping the flag . so yeah , the whole mode needs a rebalance not just the point system .

Assault mode, as it stands now, is very unappealing to play. Mostly because you need an effective group of 5 Mammoth Isidas guarding a single point in order to even make the Blue team a viable option, especially if the flags are coming from all directions.
