Completed 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia Holiday Decorations

Football fans know that in just a few months the World Cup is coming. A reason I decided to write this topic is that it will be held by Russia , the land of Tanki Online. The FIFA World Cup needs some specific celebrations and I have here some ideas to make the celebration even better!

 

A new map: World Cup 2018 Stadium

As most of you understood the map will be a quite similar to Stadium. Besides, the World Cup is a football international tournament.I have posted here the map of Stadium ,as we can watch in Tanki Online Wiki.

 

 

 

As you can see, there are  buildings and a wall.This will change , as instead of walls we will put another buildings (like a real stadium) and some signs near the Playing Zone of the Events (check out Shooting Range I Event).The buildings will be same with the current buildings you can see.

 

ATTENTION:The big blue screens will have the score of the battle.

I will show you now a map of the drops zones that I found on the Wiki.

 

 It contains the drop zones of every supplie and the Gold box drop locations too.But what's for the new stands? As for the supplies drop locations, there is an equal model between the buildings. There is a Double Armor drop location right to the brown ramp and a Double Damage drop location left to the brown ramp. That will be done for he new buildings too.As for the Speed Boost drop locations,two new drop locations will be added in the centre of any building (right and left).The same thing will happen for Gold Boxes.

I will show you now some tactics to play better.

Hulls:Mammoth,Titan,Dictator,Hunter,Hornet

Turrets:Shaft,Railgun,Striker,Ricochet,Twins

     DM

Shaft is the best turret to play in Stadium ,but not for DM.It needs an experienced tanker to use it  really well. For DM it is better a light hull like Hornet and Hunter to have some strength too.Ricochet and Twins are the best choices,while Striker is a choice that doesn't satisfies a great battle and you should equip a corner or you should be under any ramp. If you can handle up with Firebird ,then why don't you try ? But be careful!Equip Hunter ,in order to be stronger.

        TDM

Attacking doesn't matter so much like defence. That's why strong hulls are needed. A Mammoth with a Shaft is the perfect choice and the most characteristic in Stadium. Another choices are Dictator or Titan with Railgun or Striker.Magnum is a pretty cool choice.

        CTF

The only thing to do here is to take and capture the enemy flag.You need to have a Firebird or a Freeze and a Hunter or Hornet if you are attacker and a Shaft or a Striker or a Railgun if you are a defender. Railgun is a great choice as an attacking turret too. Using mines is a really good idea if you want to kill anyone who hunts you. If you want to be strong ,equip Hunter. and always have Repair kits .

     CP

Assault and Rugby

There are here two main roles here:attackers and defenders.In Assault defenders should have strong hulls such as Mammoth and Titan. Shaft is the perfect choice ,alongshide with Striker and Railgun . Firebird could be another choice,if the defence is bad. A bad thing in Rugby is that everyone wants to capture the ball.But a team should have defenders  and Dictator is the best solution.Dictator could be used for attack too. Same role will be guaranted from Hunter.

Parkour

Parkour is not so important in this map.But if you want too climb any wall Wasp with a Ricochet or Twins is a perfect idea.

Gold Box

Gold box is magnificent and it should be dropped more often. When you hear the siren self-destruct.Equip a Dictator  with Firebird  or a Ricochet and try to find the drop location.If you think that the Dictator isn't enough fast for you, eguip a Speed Boost.When the Gold Box starts to fall, start to point another players.If you don't have any medium hull stay a bit further ,so you won't get killed.After some kills between players, start to fight at the location ,to get the Gold Box.
Holiday Decorations

Every sign of Tanki Online will say ( 2018 World Cup Frenzy), like the campaign we saw in Euro 2016. There will be even a logo of the new holiday , which will be decided by Tanki Online.It will be inspired of the logo of the competition.

 

New Paints available in the Garage

The new paints will have the flags of the countries that are qualified for the World Cup.That happened in the previous World Cup held in Brazil respectively. The paints will cost 1 000 crystals each.But now I think that the tankers should have more choices , so they can keep the paints forever. I really hope that the tankers will keep the paints forever , something which not happened in 2014 World Cup and in Euro 2016. The choices will be maximum 4 ( 4 of 32 , the 1/8 of teams ).

Same paints were designed for Wales, Germany,France and Portugal in the Euro 2016.There was a special campaign which had some really cool prizes like suplies,days of Premium and for the winning team 20 000 crystals.

Here are the paints of Switzerland and Uruguay in the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Another paint of Euro 2012 held in Poland and Ukraine.

That hadn't any relation with the country paints ,but it was decorated with the colours of the competition.

Gold Box

I had lots of things in my mind when I was thinking about Gold Box. I will show you my ideas. The first thing I was thinking is that there will be four Gold Box values and when Gold Boxes will be dropped they will have different values.The values are 1994 , 2002, 2014 and 2018 the years that Russia qualified for the tournament. But since the increase of the value is prohibted and not acceptable I decided that the Gold Box will be still the SAME ,but it will have a different decoration and will be dropped more often in the new map. Betting system

The Betting system is  a system we saw in the Football Frenzie in Euro 2016.We choose a team and we win (or not) crystals depended on the results of the team we choosed.But now I decided to have two choices , so we can win more crystals.When we choose a team which will get eliminated to the round of 16 we will get 5 000 crystals,a team which will get eliminated to the quarter-finals we will get 10 000 crystals ,a team which will get eliminated to the semi-finals we will get 15 000 , the finalist we will get 25 000 and when we choose the winner team we will get 30 000 crystals !

The campaign was amazing and attractive.Many tankers bought the paints and they were wearing them in battles.I still remember a little talk I had in the battle chat about the winner of the competiton.

 

The 2018 FIFA World Cup is a celebration for me. I really hope my ideas will come true. Comment below your suggestions and what did you like or not. Have fun !

PLEASE, let paints stay in our garage FOREVER if it is like 4 years ago with national paints. I bought Brazil and why remove it?

Even though I like this idea a lot and I think it should be completed soon, I don't agree with the fact that you say that dictator is best for gold. I really don't agree with that, but for everything else, good job

 

That depends on the opinion you have for the gold box hunting. For instance, if you caught gold boxes with Hornet or Viking, use them here ,but I have caught most of my gold boxes with Dictator and that's why I recommend it.

The World Cup is over and some of the features suggested here did make it into the game, more specifically the Rugby tournament and country paints.
