2017-16 Updates in a nutshell

500 players are 1% of the active community

250 players are 0.5% of the active community

 

5000 players are 10% of the active community

2,500 players are 5% of the active community

1250 players are 2.5% of the active community

 

We can say that the average is 5% or 2.5% of the active community plays the ASL mode ... personally I say that this figure is so insignificant that if it can be taken as "nobody"

 

I think that instead of taking out new game modes, paintings that are useless and new turrets that are increasingly useless.

 

OH MY GOD! They should improve the server system, or the arrival and departure of information packets through the network. I have 90-120 ping always and things like:

 

- Vulcan traverses walls

- Isida has a huge range and continues to hurt me

- Railgun does not even give me his "lightning" and it hurts me in the same way and pushes me.

- Ricochet the same, only this does not push me

- The relation of the projectiles with the arrival of damage information and with the action are totally desynchronized. I can launch 1 rocket with Striker and it takes like 0.5 seconds to inform me of the damage and the action. And it's not lag, because 90-120 ping for me is fine: That is, it comes out green.

It is not lag with Striker , actually the rocket's does not hit targets inastatly ilke thunder 

It accelerates through and hit the target ,think like rail's warmup time

Nobody plays ASL! Are you kidding me?

 

Most of the time after CP's the most battles are of ASL, if the teams are balanced this mode is even better than TDM, , CTF and sometimes I have to chose in between ASL and CP.

 

Rugby is cool for show-off (stadium space mode), some cool tricks can be done there.

Plus the normal RGB battles are cool too, but sometimes overdrives may imbalance them.

How about a different kind of list:

  • Release of the clan system, which is used by thousands of players. WHICH DOES NOTHING. 
  • Removal of the annoying confirmation message when entering garage from battle. Alright. 
  • More accurate player ratings. Not really. It just measures if you have the time to stick around the entire battle.
  • Supply drops visible from everywhere on the map (gold box hunters loved this). Noob gold diggers. 
  • Custom controls, which solved a bunch of problems (such as key ghosting and wasting golds by accidentally pressing 6). Pretty cool imo.
  • Alterations for Twins and Ricochet. +1. 
  • Improvement of micro-upgrades (number of steps reduced to make them more convenient). :D
  • Permanent 50% discount on micro-upgrade steps. :D
  • Brand new Magnum turret. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOD PLEASE NO NOOOOOOOOOooooooo
  • Critical error issue fixed, so the error appears much less often. ok, but it still appears often. 
  • Rewards for all daily missions increased by 20%. :D
  • Mission chain rewards multiplied by 3 (which lasted for 8 months instead of the initial 3). :D
  • Improvement of auto-finish system to end unfair matches more effectively. :D
  • Prices of product kits in the shop decreased. Not a buyer. 
  • Addition of Communicator, which makes chat usage much easier. i don't see the difference
  • Unification of servers, making battle search much easier. alright. 
  • Permanent implementation of Space mode. too little gravity, only parkour, hard to play without using twins or magnum.
  • Daily bonus added to Premium Accounts. good for mission.
  • Brand new paints added to the Shop and containers. cool, but i don't have any :P.
  • Bonus and discount cards added instead of DCC. lol i forgot that the DCC was a thing. 
  • Promo Codes added. cool, but where do i get them.
  • Overdrive feature added. :( more one-sided battles.
  • Multiple improvements to the in-battle changing mechanism, addition of "G" shortcut. eh, interesting, but i always accidently presss G. 
  • Changes to repair kit and supplies (good for new players and those without many supplies). ok.
  • All garage paints available from Recruit rank. frost, hunter m0, smoky m0.
  • Removed annoying missions (collect gold box, finish 1st 3 times). :D
  • New lobby screen (good for players who don't bother looking for a battle and just want to play). lands in 5 v 1 on year 2042
  • Multiple improvements to the anti-cheat system. :D
  • Countless bug-fixes. why are the bugs there to begin with. 
  • Assault mode added. i like ASL, but no one else does. 

Biggest and most significant updates are highlighted.

 

And by the way, that is only 2017.

But bad for us normal people who like to pick and choose our map. Which, thanks to AP's upcoming update, will be taken from us. Once it's gone I'm out. If I can't even play the maps I want to play what's the point?

How about:

 

Fix cheating Impossible, there are cheaters in every game.

Bring out match making (promise NOT delivered) Stuff takes a while.

Throw a bone to the players every once in a while Like regular 50% MU sales and containers every week? And A massive WAR that awarded dozens of containers?  Good idea.... Oh wait, they already did that.

Fix PayPal This does not generate money how?

Stop multing Again, there will always be mults in every team game.

 

These things are totally unimportant to the devs because they don't generate money.

The old lobby will still be in the game. The only difference is that it will only have pro battles (which will most likely be free to play).

Nah, in this case PRO battles becoming free is actually very likely. They mentioned it multiple times during livestreams.

My whole deal with livestreams is that they aren't formulated. I have to watch the whole thing to catch every detail, and that's time consuming. The main reason I like the Vlog is because it's all concise, accurate, and final. That being said, I do enjoy the likes of Vinesauce because Vinny is generally entertaining throughout. I miss Semyon, his voice had personality if anything. The new guy sounds like a robot.

  • More accurate player ratings (Did anyone really care about that number?)
  • Supply drops visible from everywhere on the map (gold box hunters loved this) (As mentioned by the devs, it is actually a compromise, due to the transparent part somehow crash the game)
  • Custom controls, which solved a bunch of problems (such as key ghosting and wasting golds by accidentally pressing 6) (Well that's a good thing)
  • Alterations for Twins and Ricochet (Don't even mention that, the change of Twins is basically a joke)
  • Improvement of micro-upgrades (number of steps reduced to make them more convenient) (One of the rare update which everyone actually love)
  • Permanent 50% discount on micro-upgrade steps.  (One of the rare update which everyone actually love)
  • Brand new Magnum turret (#OP)
  • Critical error issue fixed, so the error appears much less often (Again, this is the consequence of poor system structure, which makes that program extremely hard to debug. We call it spaghetti code.)
  • Rewards for all daily missions increased by 20% (Yeah, but we can't do it in pro battle anymore)
  • Mission chain rewards multiplied by 3 (which lasted for 8 months instead of the initial 3)  (Like that, although the reward have little impact to the game.)
  • Improvement of auto-finish system to end unfair matches more effectively (I personally don't really care about that, and I doubt many others do)
  • Prices of product kits in the shop decreased (That is great, although I seldom buy kits)
  • Addition of Communicator, which makes chat usage much easier
  • Unification of servers, making battle search much easier (Oh this one, well thanks for that now I have a bunch of people speaking some language which I don't understand at all. #communication #coordinate)
  • Permanent implementation of Space mode (In pro battle only, which is mostly for parkour. And I don't do parkour)
  • Daily bonus added to Premium Accounts (Like that)
  • Brand new paints added to the Shop and containers (For heavy buyers only. Besides that, the paints are just not my cup of tea)
  • Bonus and discount cards added instead of DCC (Don't care.Still too expensive)
  • Promo Codes added (What's the last time a code being distributed?)
  • Overdrive feature added (Yeah, and that thing is originally call "Zero Supply", which activates ALL supplies... nice naming)
  • Multiple improvements to the in-battle changing mechanism, addition of "G" shortcut (Don't even know what's that)
  • Changes to repair kit and supplies (good for new players and those without many supplies) (No, not good at all. Druggers are still OP in the game)
  • All garage paints available from Recruit rank (IF and ONLY IF you have crystal to buy it)
  • Removed annoying missions (collect gold box, finish 1st 3 times) (I like that one)
  • New lobby screen (good for players who don't bother looking for a battle and just want to play) (Not sure whether it is needed. I'm not a new player after all)
  • Multiple improvements to the anti-cheat system (Like that)
  • Countless bug-fixes (As stated above, thanks for the spaghetti code,this stuff should have already be done long ago. In fact we still have countless of bugs e.g. Vulcan overheat with no reason)
  • Assault mode added (Not a big fan of it. Not to mentioned it is actually not a new mode as it has been introduced in 2 new year events. What they did is to keep it permanently)

Biggest and most significant updates are highlighted.

 

And by the way, that is only 2017.

Rugby mode is popular, people understand what is going on.

ASL mode needs more updates to generate more steam.

Striker Hornet mode (nobody plays this) I agree with this one.

Dictator Rail mode (nobody plays this) I agree with this one as well, they need to improve these modes.

Not being able to complete missions in pro battles is fine, I can cope with this, there is so much variety in non pro.

Battle button which noone uses (nobody uses this) Very true, but matchmaking will fix this!

more updates developers wasted their time on instead of making something we all want (everybody agrees with this)

more updates that the devs scrapped (cough cough ranked DM mode) (we wanted this)

NOBODY USES STRIKER OR VULCAN ANYMORE DAMNIT (nobody plays this) ?????????

Drugfest (nobody likes this) There are battles without drugs, you know

I can't wait to pack up my stuff and move games once we no longer get the freedom of choice. Oh no, nevermind, we CAN still play on our favorite maps, but we can't actually progress in doing so. My bad. .-.
